The former NBA player reportedly signed up for the program at iRely after he was arrested for driving under the influence. Following his arrest, Odom revealed that the authorities did not discover alcohol or narcotics while he was pulled over.
However, the police claimed the former athlete's car smelled of weed when he was stopped, and he also admitted to smoking a few hours before.
The NBA alum's manager, Gina Rodriguez, explained that he wanted to leave behind his life of consuming marijuana out of concerns that it may further heighten his addiction issues.

TMZ confirmed that Odom has his eyes set on a new business now that he is out of treatment, and he aims to launch a company called HealLO.co. It is an A.I.-powered nationwide search platform designed to connect people to every type of wellness and treatment center in the United States.

Two years before his infamous Vegas episode, Odom was arrested and charged with DUI by a California Highway Patrol officer. The Blast noted that an agent had reportedly observed that Odom's luxury vehicle was driving unevenly, making serpentine moves before eventually halting at a traffic stop.
The officer had shared that the former footballer exhibited objective signs of intoxication and was unable to perform field sobriety tests as instructed and demonstrated.

Odom, who spent seven seasons with the L.A. team before he got traded off to the Dallas Mavericks in 2011, credited his ex-wife in his book "Darkness to Light" for her role in his 2015 overdose incident.
"Khloé never left my side. She didn't shower for days. Kim's resiliency was incredible, too. They put chairs together for her to sleep across at night," Odom noted.
Odom and Khloé tied the knot in an elaborate wedding on September 27, 2009, which was televised on the fourth season of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians." The duo got married just one month after meeting, and unfortunately, headed for divorce in 2013, with a finalization in 2016.

Lamar Odom Experienced Some Accommodation Troubles Last Year

The former NBA player was named in a home vacation order last May after his ex-landlord took him to court for allegedly owing $45,000 in rent payments.
The sublessor of his L.A. rental, Executive Recovery Group, Inc., reportedly sued him and claimed that in December 2024, he entered an oral agreement with them to rent the property on a monthly payment arrangement.
Odom reportedly agreed to pay $15,000 per month in rent, which was due on the first day of every month. However, he defaulted on paying up to three monthly fees from January 1 to March 31. The sublessor claimed he had been served several notices to pay up within three days or leave the property.
The Executive Recovery Group, Inc. added in its filing that it included an "election of forfeiture" in the filing, and on March 17, proceeded to terminate the lease agreement with Odom.
The court then ruled in April that the former basketballer was expected to vacate the premises and for Executive Recovery Group Inc. to take possession of the home.
