Safaree Samuels Responds To Haters That Trashed Him For Going On Vacation, Claims He ‘Was Home’

Safaree Samuels is not impressed with the critics and media who had a lot to say about the poor timing of his vacation. The up-and-coming rapper told the naysayer to “mind your own business” because he “was home” when he was posting about being in Jamaica. He appeared on Young Joc’s radio show where he couldn’t contain his annoyance for the haters telling the radio host that he “wants to swear so bad”. The rapper made it clear that he didn’t care what anyone had to say about his actions or his family.

Do You Believe Safaree?
Joc opened up from a break taunting the rapper, “hey you be everywhere” he said in reference to the 40-year-old seemingly just coming back from a trip to Jamaica. The father of two jumped in to clarify. “You know what’s so crazy? when I was posting in Jamaica I was home,” he admitted. “Like a lot of people don’t know that”. Joc and his guest went on to commiserate over the industry and social media. “A lot of people can only go off what you give them, the little bit of salt you sprinkle for them,” claims the “It’s Going Down” rapper.
Erica Was Mad Too Though
It’s kind of hard to believe that Samuels was home that entire time because his own soon-to-be ex-wife, Erica Mena posted her own subliminal hate about her shady husband. “Let’s turn this whole life around,” wrote the mom of three after taking a break from spending hours in the NICU with her newborn son. She recently posted another subliminal message with a photo that showcased her amazing post-pregnancy body. “Fumbling the bag don’t always mean money. Y’all fumble valuable people too. ✌🏽& ♥️,” she wrote. Samuels hasn’t appeared in any of these photos.
The Divorce Is On
The couple’s troubled relationship is currently playing out on the reality TV series Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta. However, in real life, the couple has filed for divorce and is hoping to “move forward amicably” with co-parenting their children together. Mena has asked for joint legal custody. “With the parties having parenting time as determined in the minor children's best interests.” The couple has only been married for a little over two years and the union produced two children daughter, Safire, and a newborn son whose name they have not shared officially as of yet. Mena also has an older son from a previous relationship.
At Odds Over Expanding The Family
The most recent episode revealed that Samuels was not happy about the announcement of a new baby on the way. When Mena shared the news with excitement the Jamaican native did not hide his disappointment. Fans initially thought the couple was excited to be expanding their family because of Mena’s post on IG announcing the arrival. “Safire got a new sibling 😇😇" Samuels wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post. "New baby who dis?? 🙏🏾🙏🏾 #2under2 time to get neutered 🤣🤣 now I need a chef and a nanny 😂😂.” She has since deleted the post. Samuels also made his own announce but he too deleted the post. But, seeing it play out on TV now, well, it seems like this could have been the straw that broke the camel’s back.
