The U.S. president has repeatedly taken swipes at his predecessor and his wife, but seemed to cross the line with a post depicting them as apes.

Over the weekend, the U.S. leader took to his Truth Social account to reshare a post from Laura Loomer in which she lashed out at Susan Rice and dropped sensitive remarks about the Obamas.

In his caption, Trump called for Netflix to remove the former national security adviser who now serves on the company’s executive board.

“Netflix should fire racist, Trump Deranged Susan Rice, IMMEDIATELY, or pay the consequences,” Trump warned. He further criticized Rice, claiming she lacked talent and power, before urging the company to look into the matter urgently.

In Loomer’s original statement, she slammed Rice for saying corporations that took a “knee to Trump will face an accountability agenda from elected democrats if they win the 2026 midterms and the 2028 presidential election.”

Loomer claimed that Rice's statement threatened the citizens who voted for Trump with “weaponized government,” and questioned if Netflix supports Rice's alleged position. She further accused the company of being "anti-American" and "woke," and called POTUS to stop the potential merger between Netflix and Warner Bros.

She cautioned that “positive messaging of the Democrats' upcoming witch hunts against Trump from Barack Hussein Obama @BarackObama and his anti-White racist wife Michelle @MichelleObama would likely be blasted across all streaming services,” per People Magazine.

Trump supporting Loomer’s description of the former First Lady comes weeks after he shared a meme of both her and her husband.

As The Blast previously reported, the 79-year-old politician posted an AI-generated video that showed Barack and Michelle’s faces superimposed on monkeys in a fake jungle.

In no time, the footage sparked backlash from all sides and even had Republicans chiming in.

South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott, a Trump supporter and the only Black Republican in the Senate, condemned the post on X, calling it "the most racist thing I've seen out of this White House" and urging its removal.

Sen. Pete Ricketts and Rep. Mike Lawler also criticized the imagery, saying it was offensive and should be deleted with an apology.

In the wake of the backlash, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt issued a statement defending the commander-in-chief and insisting the clip had been taken out of context.

"This is from an internet meme video depicting President Trump as the King of the Jungle and Democrats as characters from The Lion King," Leavitt claimed. "Please stop the fake outrage and report on something today that actually matters to the American public."

A few hours after defending the video, the Trump administration shifted its stance, pushing blame to a staffer who had mistakenly uploaded it.

Barack soon addressed the post in a recent interview with Tyler Cohen, noting that Trump’s actions were concerning.

"First of all, I think it's important to recognize that the majority of the American people find this behavior deeply troubling," the former president slammed, according to The Blast

He noted that while it grabs attention, people still value "decency, courtesy, kindness." Obama described Trump and his allies' behavior as a "clown show" lacking shame or respect for the office, adding that a sense of “decorum and propriety” has been lost.

Following Obama’s reaction, Trump still had him on his radar and came after him while paying tribute to civil rights activist Jesse Jackson.

According to The Blast, the world leader highlighted initiatives Jackson had lobbied him on in past years before revealing that Jackson disliked Obama despite helping him.

"Jesse was a force of nature like few others before him," Trump penned. "He had much to do with the election, without acknowledgement or credit, of Barack Hussein Obama, a man whom Jesse could not stand."
