Kris Jenner Doubles Down First-Ever Defamation Lawsuit Over 'Deeply Painful' Statement

Kris Jenner is not taking Ray J's accusations against her family, especially Kim Kardashian, lightly

The family matriarch is finally over her daughter's ex's false claims over the years, including the latest one where he shared that the authorities were investigating the momager and her daughter.

Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner, and Ray J have been at odds since the billionaire's sex tape involving the rapper leaked in 2007, which he has since claimed the momager was behind the leak.

The TV personality has now filed a declaration in her ongoing defamation case against the rapper, dragging him to court for making several untrue and scandalous allegations that the mother-daughter duo is under an investigation by the feds.

Kris clarified that she has never been accused of any crimes, and the notion that she and her daughter are being looked into for doing something worse than Sean' Diddy' Combs is a miserable lie.

She continued that Kim was with Ray J for a short period of time and has, over the years, terrorized the billionaire by defaming her in the press for popularity.

"My family is of the utmost importance to me. It is deeply painful to watch my daughter experience the stress brought upon her by [Ray J], and her feelings of hopelessness and his harassment will never end," she continued as reported by TMZ.

She added that Ray J's recent statements have kept the constant cycle of extremely difficult waves of attention towards her family going, causing them emotional distress.

Kris continued in the declaration that Ray J's allegations left her deeply angered and shaken, with concerns for her business, which may be affected by these serious claims. The business mogul reiterated that it has taken her decades to build her empire, and Ray J's allegations may get in the way of her progress.

Kris noted that she has never used anyone for defamation in the past, but Ray J's claims pushed her to the edge because his statement was inexcusable and very painful.

The family matriarch stated that Ray J's malicious statements and lies often leave her daughter in a state of emotional turmoil, and she hopes that the lawsuit will put an end to these false allegations.

Kim also filed her defamation lawsuit earlier, citing concerns that Ray J's statement would get in the way of her future ambition of becoming a lawyer.

The father of two, in a post by The Blast last year, shared that Kris was behind the leaked sex tape until she did a complete 180 and blamed him for the way everything panned out. Ray J accused the mother and daughter of witch-hunting him because he was no longer in their plan.

He continued that Kris and Kim's lawsuit was not about defamation; it was a tool for publicity, power, and punishment. The rapper had also given close-up looks into his defunct relationship with Kim and their rather interesting sex life.

According to him, they had a stacked red Louis Vuitton trunk where several sex toys were kept. He also noted that Kim would not get intimate without the perfect lighting and makeup, although the SKIMS founder debunked these claims and called him a pathological liar.

The Blast shared in 2022 that a rapper who actually brought the former couple together in the beginning expressed how much they wished that day never happened.

Rapper L.A. Buck took to Instagram to describe the fallout between Ray J and Kim, especially the lawsuit, as a really messy situation that he would not wish on anyone.

He emphasized that he did not bring the two celebrities together for the whole circus, as the initial intention was for them to be in a respectful, peaceful, and loving relationship where everyone gets along.

Buck described how the meeting happened, revealing that he had invited Kim to come meet Ray J at his house, and at this point in their interaction, the lies and false allegations must be put to bed.

While Ray J is claiming that Kim knew about the sex tape and even signed off on it, Kim's camp is insisting that Kim never wanted it to go public.

The family matriarch was the focus of a 2020 lawsuit filed by her one-time bodyguard, who claimed she made unwanted sexual advances towards him while he worked for Kris and her daughter, Kourtney Kardashian.

However, in 2023, the former bodyguard filed a request that the court dismiss the entire action of all parties with prejudice, which means the case can never be brought to court.

The former bodyguard, who is of African American descent, had sued the manager and her first child for creating a hostile work environment, racial discrimination, and gender discrimination.

He claimed that due to his continued proximity with the mother-of-six, he often endured unwarranted physical contact such as neck massages, resting on his thigh and groin, and all other kinds of contact without his consent or approval.  

The bodyguard added that Kris often went to the extreme by exposing parts of her body to him while making suggestive comments directed at his physical appearance.

Where would this legal journey take Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, and Ray J?
