Meghan King's Custody Battle Takes Another Turn With Doxxing Claims

Meghan King is claiming that her estranged husband is involved in her recent phone calls debacle.

The American TV personality is slamming her former partner with allegations that he gave her number to sex workers who, in turn, harassed her years ago.

Despite settling their divorce in 2021, Meghan King and Jim Edmonds have remained stuck in a rollercoaster of custody battles, allegations of harassment, and even property breaching.

The star headed to the Kirkwood Police Department in Missouri last December to report allegedly threatening phone calls she had been consistently receiving from a strange number. She claimed that the caller had threatened to hurt her and her kids, with each cycle getting increasingly worse than the previous.

King noted that the calls have been getting more intense and strangely refusing to make sense, which was why she stopped engaging the caller and blocked the number; unfortunately, a new number keeps popping up.

She reportedly played 2 voicemails left by the doxxer to the officer, where the caller, who sounded female, made repeated threats of grabbing, hurting, and killing King and the kids. 

"The suspect speaks calmly at times and quickly at others, using frequently-repeated phrases or details in a rambling and erratic manner," the report read, according to TMZ.

In the report, King stated that she also received a text from another unknown number that included a picture of Edmonds, along with instructions to harass her. 

She was also asked if she was sure her ex-husband had any role to play in the threatening calls, to which she answered in the negative, although she mentioned their ongoing custody battle. 

The media personality claimed that Edmonds had also harassed her in the same manner in the past, contacting sex workers to harass her. The police department then launched an investigation into the claims, sending a request to place King's residence under close surveillance.

Edmonds' legal representative, Steve Honig, issued a response to King's claims, stating that it is the first time anyone has heard of them and that they are absurd, especially as Edmonds is in Tennessee, focusing on raising the kids who are fully in his custody.

Last year, Edmonds won sole custody of their children, while King got limited access, with the court granting her supervised visits on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

As noted by The Blast, the court's order prevented the former reality TV star from spending Thanksgiving with her kids. As for Edmonds, he enjoyed the company of his kids and the rest of his family on the special day, sharing pictures of them in several Instagram slides.

One of the slides showed Edmonds and the family celebrating Aspen's ninth birthday, which was a Taylor Swift-themed party featuring a pink birthday cake decorated with several heart emojis, a guitar, and a football with the number "87."

King chose a vulnerable approach for the start of the new year with a candid post taking stock of the past year, including her wins and losses. The Blast shared that she uploaded a picture of herself standing in a dimly lit hallway, stressing in the caption that she went through one of the roughest periods of her life this past year.

King emphasized that she carried loss in lonely rooms, made decisions while overwhelmed with doubts, but these did not break her spirit as she kept going, and now a new year has begun for her.

The TV star's children were absent from the new year photos following a private agreement between her and Edmonds, under which she was dropped as the kids' primary caregiver. King lost access to her children when allegations of her prescribing medicine without the doctor's prescription to one of her twin sons arose.

The media personality may have spent Thanksgiving alone and lost custody of her kids, but not the loyalty of her "RHOC" pal, Emily Simpson, who publicly supported her last November.

Simpson urged the public to refrain from hasty conclusions about the couple's situation, noting that custody cases are not always clear-cut. 

She noted that, personally, she would hate for any random person to speculate or make judgments about her situation. Another Bravo star, Gina Kirschenheiter, stressed for more empathy and understanding towards the situation, which no one really knows anything about. 

Edmonds was not the only one to face a court action against King; his new wife, Kortnie, also obtained a restraining order against the Bravo alum after she showed up at Edmonds' residence and reportedly caused a disturbance under the guise of dropping off a dress for her daughter.
