Ray J Laments Fans Theft Amid Fake Blood Claims

All Ray J needs is his heart monitor back!

The musician is issuing a public plea to whoever yanked his special heart monitor off his chest during his Valentine's Day performance, as it is very crucial to his health.

Ray J revealed the shocking news about his failing health earlier in the year, confirming to fans that he is basically on a life countdown due to severe heart issues.

The R&B singer noted to interviewers that he has been wearing that particular heart monitor for the past two weeks to help doctors keep track of his health. 

Unfortunately, it disappeared right after his performance, which went viral because of his heart monitor strapped to his chest and blood coming out of his eyes.

He stated that a cab snatched the monitor from his chest as he hopped inside the bubbling crowd in Shreveport, Louisiana, as he performed "One Wish."

Ray J explained to TMZ that the monitor has important health data that his doctors need to extract in order to craft a treatment plan for him. He even promised to give a cash reward to anyone who has it as an indication of how critical it is to his health.

Ray J's gig during the Valentine's Day weekend definitely caused conversations, and the aftermath of the blood flowing out of his eyes may have now been messier than he projected. As noted by The Blast, a photographer who was backstage at the event slammed Ray J with allegations of using fake blood.

"I saw him literally put on the fake blood and things like that, and go out there with the crowd, which is very shocking that he'd do something like that," the photographer, identified as Tommy Nard II, explained.

He added that the actor absolutely loves the camera and would do anything for attention, which is why the alleged fake blood did not move him. 

Ray J's manager, Melinda Santiago, however, rushed to his defense, stating that the musician has been in and out of the hospital, dealing with health issues, and his meds have some side effects, which may explain the blood from his eyes.

The actor's manager slammed Nard II, saying that he was merely chasing clout with the story, as he was neither on his team nor an integral part of Ray J's circle for him to have access to exclusive information.

Santiago emphasized that her job is to protect her artists from opportunists, which also means that she would be cutting off access backstage to random people in subsequent events.

The actor's estranged wife and baby mama, who shared two children with him before filing for divorce in 2020, also defended him by commenting on a post about the performance that the blood coming out of his eyes is indeed real. 

However, several fans across social media seemingly sided with the photographer, expressing that he was doing too much for his claims to have been real.

Ray J shared in a video that his diagnosis has placed him on the edge, and he may not be around in a few years. As reported by The Blast, he admitted that the bulk of his heart issues came from years of drinking and partying while being reckless with his well-being.

His heart, according to him, is currently working at 25% capacity as it has turned black from consuming copious amounts of alcohol in the past. To address his health issue, the singer is planning to travel to Haiti to seek better treatment for his condition.

He is currently on multiple medications to keep him in shape till he goes on his Haiti trip or till a better regimen shows up. The actor’s list of medications reportedly includes Lipitor and Entresto, which are for individuals with a higher risk for heart failure.

Ray J has also been warned to steer clear of alcohol and smoking, as his case may degenerate to the point where he would have to use a pacemaker or defibrillator.

The musician has also enjoyed a second chance at co-parenting with his ex, Princess Love, in the wake of his diagnosis. The duo headed to court in Los Angeles to modify the protective order that barred him from contacting his estranged wife and their two kids.

The restraining order was reportedly readjusted to allow Ray J to enjoy time with his children by providing him with unlimited contact amid his health issues. Ray J's mom, Sonja Norwood, and Love also testified in the courtroom, stressing that the kids miss their father.

The musician's estranged wife explained to the judge that Ray J poses no harm to the children at this time and appeared very supportive of him during their court outing.
