Sarah Ferguson's whereabouts remain unknown after her ex-husband, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, was arrested on suspicion of "misconduct in public office."

The former couple previously lived in Royal Lodge, but following Andrew's eviction due to renewed scrutiny for his ties to Jeffrey Epstein, it remains unclear what Ferguson's living arrangements are.

King Charles has since broken his silence on his younger brother's arrest, saying "the law must take its course," while offering his continued support and cooperation to law enforcement.

Andrew's wife, Sarah Ferguson, seems to have gone incognito since he was arrested on the morning of Thursday, February 19, on suspicion of "misconduct in public office."

The former Duke of York has been living on King Charles' Sandringham estate in Norfolk following his eviction from Royal Lodge, where he and Ferguson resided, even after they finalized their divorce in 1996.

For years, the pair seemed inseparable and stood side by side with each other, but amid Andrew's run-in with the law, she seemed to have vanished. Before now,  a source told People magazine that she planned to get her own space and "forge an independent life."

Reports also suggested she was going to be spending time abroad as she planned out what she was going to do next. However,  it remains unclear where things currently stand, especially as nothing seems to be coming forth from her camp.

Meanwhile, sources close to her have since ruled out reports she planned to move into her daughter Princess Beatrice's country home, as well as that suggesting she could move to Portugal to stay with her younger daughter Princess Eugenie.

Andrew's arrest, which happened on his 66th birthday, comes amid backlash for his ties with the convicted pedophile.

Earlier this month, reports emerged suggesting the Thames Valley Police were looking into complaints that he shared confidential information related to his role as a trade envoy in an email with Epstein.

In an email, released as part of the Epstein files by the U.S. Justice Department, a sender named "The Duke" sent Epstein an email titled "South East Asia Visit Reports" from Amit Patel, whose email signature identifies him as "Special Adviser to HRH The Duke of York."

The email appeared to have contained information about Andrew's trip to Singapore, Vietnam, Hong Kong, and China, in his role as part ot trade envoy for the British government.

Another email dated December 24, 2010, saw Andrew present Epstein with a "confidential brief" on investment opportunities in the Helmand Province of Afghanistan.

Ferguson's name also made it to the Epstein list, although appearance on the list doesn't necessarily translate into wrongdoing.

An email between Epstein and his assistant showed that he paid over $14,000 to fly Ferguson and her two daughters to the U.S. for lunch, after which she wrote to him saying, "Thank you, Jeffrey, for being the brother I have always wished for."

Back in 2010, news that the late financier was helping her pay off debts owed to her staff became public amid her financial struggles.

She later issued a public apology as she expressed regrets over her decision to accept his help, calling it a "terrible, terrible error of judgment," while also noting that she "abhors paedophilia," per People Magazine.

However, reports suggest that Ferguson later apologized to him, claiming in an email that she did it to protect her career while referring to him as a "steadfast, generous and supreme friend."

That same year, the former duchess sent him an email, saying, "You are a legend," and noted in that same email, "I am at your service. Just marry me."

Meanwhile, Andrew's elder brother, King Charles, has broken his silence following the former working royal's arrest.

Charles, who had previously offered his support and willingness to cooperate with law enforcement, seemingly distanced himself from his brother in a statement released by Buckingham Palace.

"I have learned with the deepest concern the news about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and suspicion of misconduct in public office. What now follows is the full, fair and proper process by which this issue is investigated in the appropriate manner and by the appropriate authorities,"  the statement reads.

"In this, as I have said before, they have our full and wholehearted support and cooperation. Let me state clearly: the law must take its course. As this process continues, it would not be right for me to comment further on this matter. Meanwhile, my family and I will continue in our duty and service to you all," he added.

According to the BBC, Andrew has been sighted leaving a police station in the back seat of an SUV, with the Thames Valley Police sharing in an update that searches in Norfolk have ended.

Prior to his arrest on his 66th birthday, the former Duke of York reportedly sparked fears that he could self-harm due to the escalating Epstein scandal.

"He's isolated, humiliated, and emotionally fragile," a source close to the disgraced royal claimed, per reports. "People are genuinely worried."

The palace at the time was said to be holding "contingency conversations," following King Charles statement on his willingness to cooperate with law enforcement.

"The word 'unstable' is being used," a second source told British Journalist, Rob Shuter."That's not casual language."

However, this claim was contested by other insiders, who branded reports that he could harm himself as pure "manipulation."

"Andrew is fine," a palace source insisted. "This is manipulation — again."

"His ego is enormous. He's the boy who cried wolf. He knows how to use sympathy to slow the heat," an insider said, while another noted, "He wants to be seen as a victim. That doesn't mean he's at risk."
