In the photo, VanZant posed at the edge of a pool wearing a bright pink bikini that highlighted her athletic curves. Kneeling with one leg raised and her body angled toward the camera, she held a colorful toy water gun. Her short blonde hair fell loosely around her face as she glanced back over her shoulder.
The tropical setting only amplified the vibe. Palm trees and lush greenery framed the background, while the shimmering water added a luxury resort feel to the shot. But it was VanZant's curves and confident stance that stole the spotlight.

Long before she was making headlines for bikini snaps, Paige VanZant was opening up about the darker side of life inside the Octagon.
In a 2018 interview, the former UFC star revealed that the relentless pressure to cut weight was taking a serious toll on her physical and mental health. "I was having different issues with myself and my body," the fighter, then 23, said. "I was giving myself an eating disorder to make the weight."
Though VanZant said she felt strongest and healthiest around 135 pounds, she would diet down to 115 pounds to compete in the Strawweight division, a drastic drop that required extreme discipline and restriction. Over time, she realized the constant cycle of cutting and regaining weight was unsustainable.

The turning point came after witnessing a frightening backstage moment involving fellow UFC fighter Uriah Hall.
"I was at a fight where a fellow UFC fighter, Uriah Hall, was cutting weight, and he pushed himself just to the brink of death. He had kidney failure and started seizing in the hallway right in front of me," she recalled. "It's because of that I'm like 'I can't do this anymore.'"
Hall ultimately recovered, but the incident deeply impacted VanZant and pushed her to reevaluate her future in the division.

Years later, VanZant once again found herself addressing her body, but this time on her own terms. In 2023, the former UFC star fired back at online critics who body-shamed her after she gained weight. Rather than ignore the comments, she confronted them head-on in a candid social media post.
"I have been really good at putting my best self forward," VanZant wrote at the time. "Making sure the world sees the 'prettiest' side of me. Where I fell short is that I never showed the true me. Until now. The truth is, yes, I have gained a lot of weight … probably 20-plus pounds, but I also gained strength, power, muscle and a f-ck ton of happiness."
She added, "I see every single comment on my YouTube channel about how I look pregnant, obese, fat as f-ck, and won't be able to fit through a door soon. But one thing I have always remembered, happy people ain't haters and haters ain't happy."
