Shia LaBeouf Bought A New Home In New Orleans Following His Split From Mia Goth

In hopes of a fresh start, Shia LaBeouf uprooted his life in L.A. and planted roots in New Orleans after he secretly split from his estranged wife Mia Goth.
According to TMZ, sources shared that the 39-year-old actor paid just over a million dollars to secure a 3-bedroom, 3.5-bath Uptown cottage, which sits about 20 minutes from the French Quarter.
The actor chose the city to be closer to family members, as he's understood to be very close to his dad, Jeffrey, who lives in the area.
It appears he also hoped to escape the fast pace of Hollywood, with the news outlet reporting he told people he wanted to "reset and refocus."
Reports suggest he has been living alone and also keeping a low profile in the area since he arrived. He hasn't refrained from telling anyone who cares to listen that he's sober and focused on keeping things that way, yet he has made a habit of inviting people out for drinks.
Locals have gotten to know him for his black and gray Ram truck as he frequently cruises around town in the big automobile.
Inside Shia LaBeouf's Alleged Split From Mia Goth

LaBeouf and Goth first met in 2012 on the set of "Nymphomaniac: Vol. II," after which they began dating on and off.
They then got married in 2016 but suffered a strain in their relationship in 2018. They appeared to have reunited two years later, after which they welcomed their daughter Isabel in 2022.
However, their marriage hit the rocks sometime last year, with the actor moving out of their shared home in Pasadena early January.
Reports suggest he moved out all his belongings while Goth wasn't around, although it remains unclear if she also relocated at the time.
They were last seen together when they stepped out for a walk in L.A. in January last year.
The Actor Was Involved In A Drunken Brawl In New Orleans

LaBeouf's quest for a fresh start was hampered when he recently got involved in an alleged drunken brawl that saw him get beaten up and arrested.
The incident happened near the French Quarter on Monday after he allegedly punched a bar employee, leading to a fight before police arrived at the scene.
The New Orleans police department said in a statement that officers responded at about 12:45 am on February 17 to the 1400 block of Royal Street "in response to a simple battery where two victims (two adult males) reported being assaulted," per People Magazine.
"Investigators say a man identified as 39-year-old Shia LaBeouf was reportedly causing a disturbance and becoming increasingly aggressive at a Royal Street business. A staff member attempted to eject Mr. LaBeouf from the establishment. Once removed from the building, the victim reported being struck by LaBeouf, who used his closed fists on the victim several times," police claimed.
The statement also added that LaBeouf left for a while, "but then came back, acting even more aggressively."
Several people tried to stop him, but he succeeded in hitting the same victim again, and also struck a second person. He was then held until police came rolling in, after which he was taken to the hospital for treatment and was later arrested and charged with two counts of simple battery and a misdemeanor.
Shia LaBeouf Took To The Street To Enjoy The Festival After His Release From Jail

A video of the altercation has since hit the internet, in which LaBeouf can be seen attempting to take a go at a man, but was instead beaten up.
"We gon' beat the f-ck out of you, boy. Chill!" the man yelled as the actor attempted to stand, only to be knocked back down again.
LaBeouf was then seen out and about again, barely hours after he was let go from police custody. Local news outlet WGNO reports that he was spotted dancing at a festival, wearing Mardi Gras beads around his neck and holding blue-and-white jail release paperwork in his mouth.
Mia Goth Is 'Concerned' For Her Estranged Husband

LaBeouf has since taken to his X account, where he broke his silence on his run-in with the law.
The actor offered a simple two-word response to the speculation about the incident, writing, "Free me."
Reports also suggest his estranged wife, Goth, is "concerned" for him, as doubts now rise over his sobriety.
According to TMZ, sources claim the actress is over him following their divorce, but still talks to him when he wants to connect with their daughter.
