A longtime Republican has joined the growing number of voices criticizing Donald Trump, but not for the same reasons as most.
Multi-hyphenate star Pat Boone recently called out the President of the United States for his behavior, noting he was not in support of the politician's proud ways.
The comment marked a rare path for Pat Boone, who is not only a lifelong Republican but an avid Donald Trump supporter.
Pat Boone Advises Donald Trump To Become Humble Or Lose Supporters

The singer-songwriter, who dominated the '50s, shared his thoughts about Trump in a recent interview. Boone noted that his support for the President had not wavered in the slightest; however, he believed Trump needed to be cautioned about his pride.
"He's doing great things, but he won't wait for other people to brag on him. He wants to make sure you know, and he wants his name on too many things," Boone told The Daily Mail. He stressed that Trump's behavior was more off-putting than attractive to people.
Boone noted that Trump was "his own worst enemy" because he could not let his actions speak for themselves. He argued that the politician was too focused on "being famous for being great" and warned that his behavior could alienate voters who support him.

Boone noted that he had a close relationship with Trump, a friendship that began long before he entered politics. He described Trump as a "genius" and someone he greatly admired; nonetheless, he hoped he could become more like a past president.
"I wish he had more of the calm of Ronald Reagan. I mean, still do great things, but let it sneak up on us, so that people say: 'Hey, he did what he said,'" Boone said. He added that if given the opportunity, he would share his concerns with Trump in person.
Boone hoped Trump would embody humility in his remaining tenure, so that he could proudly end his second administration. While Boone sought greater calm from Trump, other critics believed the President was abusing his power.
Former Disney CEO Slammed The Politician's Paramount Settlement

Days before Boone's plea for humility, The Blast reported that a former Disney CEO had addressed Trump's $16 million settlement with Paramount. The latter had shelled out the massive sum after the President took issue with the 2024 "60 Minutes" interview with Kamala Harris.
Michael Eisner addressed the controversial settlement, declaring that if he had been in charge, he would never have settled with Trump. He wasn't the first to slam the settlement as Stephen Colbert condemned it as a "big, fat bribe" in 2025.
The TV host shared his thoughts on the settlement during an episode of his late-night show, calling out both Trump and Paramount. However, days after the episode aired, CBS announced that "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" would end after 10 seasons due to financial reasons.
The Former Host Of 'The Apprentice' Dissed Barack Obama In A Rev. Jesse Jackson Tribute

Trump recently got critics talking again with his tribute to Reverend Jesse Jackson. The Blast covered the story, reporting that the President had posted a lengthy message on his Truth Social platform, raving about all the help he had given the deceased civil rights activist.
Trump claimed he provided office space for Jackson and his Rainbow PUSH Coalition in the Trump Building at 40 Wall Street. He also responded to Jackson's request for help in passing and signing the criminal justice reform bill, and helped fund Historically Black Colleges & Universities.
While gushing about his relationship with Jackson, Trump used the opportunity to slam Barack Obama. "He had much to do with the Election, without acknowledgment or credit, of Barack Hussein Obama, a man whom Jesse could not stand," Trump alleged in his post.
Donald Trump Was Once Roasted By The Late Robin Williams

Days before Trump dropped his tribute to Jackson, he made waves after a resurfaced Robin Williams roast. The Blast shared that the video, which went viral on X, saw the late actor warning the world about Trump's links to beauty pageants and young girls.
Williams described Trump as "the Wizard of Oz" and "a scary man," comparing his ties to beauty pageants to Michael Vick owning pet stores. The latter was implicated in 2007 for running an interstate dogfighting ring on his Virginia property.
"It's a f-cking catch and release program for him. This is a man who said, 'My daughter is hot.' Even people in Arkansas went, 'That's f-cking wrong,'" Williams added about Trump.
The video reignited critics' outrage about the President's ties to the late child sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein, as he was repeatedly named in the Epstein files.
