Brandi Glanville Now Looking Inward For Facial Parasite Cause After Blaming Bravo

Brandi Glanville has confirmed the real cause of her famous facial parasite that left her looking deformed.

The former "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star first made waves in December 2024 after revealing her significant facial disfigurement. At the time, she blamed Bravo for her troubles, referencing her sour exit from the network.

Brandi Glanville has since changed her tune after discovering that the problem did not stem from external factors but her personal choices.

Glanville looked better than ever in a recent sighting outside her doctor's office in Beverly Hills. The facial disfigurement that once plagued her life was nowhere to be seen, with Glanville confidently flaunting a radiant appearance while speaking to a paparazzo.

She told the TMZ reporter that the real cause of her facial troubles stemmed from within, revealing her breast implants had ruptured. Glanville explained that the silicone had leaked inside her body, clogging her lymph nodes and leading to a severe infection.

Thanks to this infection, Glanville spent thousands of dollars hopping from one doctor to the next trying to figure out what caused the facial parasite that was destroying her appearance. She finally got an answer after a sonogram revealed the dire state of her breast implants.

Glanville admitted that the problem with her breast implants stemmed from her carelessness, as one was meant to change them every 10 years. However, she had the implants for 20 years and paid the price for failing to maintain them.

When asked why she kept her implants for so long, Glanville replied: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." Nearly two years before the media personality uncovered the cause of her facial disfigurement, she had pinned the blame on Bravo, citing her issues with the network.

The Blast covered the story in December 2024, reporting that Glanville had shared a selfie detailing the horrid state of her face. Her once flawless skin had become red, inflamed, and swollen, with what appeared to be lumps in some areas.

Glanville captioned the selfie with a plea for prayers before going into detail about her problems on X. She explained that she had been in and out of the hospital for a year and a half, trying to discover what was wrong with her appearance.

The former "RHOBH" star noted that some doctors suspected she had a facial parasite that was jumping around her face, while others believed it could be stress-induced edema. "I personally say it's Bravo," Glanville added.

Glanville first blamed the network for her physical and mental exhaustion in July 2024, claiming she was "miserable and depressed." She previously declared that she would file a lawsuit against Bravo for using her as their "fall guy" and causing extreme emotional stress with their actions.

A year after revealing her facial disfigurement, The Blast reported in December 2025 that Glanville had gotten a diagnosis for her ailment. She shared the news at the grand opening for goGLOW in Sherman Oaks, claiming her problem finally had a name.

However, Glanville did not share the diagnosis she had gotten for her facial ailment. Instead, she noted that finally having a name for the problem took the weight off her shoulders, and it even left her mother feeling very emotional.

Glanville also admitted that her facial disfigurement had taken a toll on her social life, leaving her with plenty of dark thoughts. A month prior, she gave a positive health update in an interview, claiming her mental health had improved after moving into a new home.

Glanville's ruptured breast implants first made waves days earlier when she announced the need for emergency surgery. The Blast reported that she had silicone implants in her body since 2007, failing to maintain them as required until they ruptured.

"I'm just scared to death. It's something that I could die from if I hadn't figured it out," Glanville confessed in an interview before the surgery. She explained that the issue was discovered during a sonogram, which revealed the leaking silicone had invaded her lymph nodes.

"That's probably why, whatever's going on in your face, it can't drain because your lymph nodes are clogged with silicone," the woman doing the sonogram told Glanville, per her recollection. On that note, Glanville chose to remove the implants through surgery and refused to get new ones.
