Shia LaBeouf's Wild Mardi Gras Reportedly Involved Taking A Beating

Shia LaBeouf got into trouble on the streets of New Orleans.

The actor was captured getting very physically assaulted by a group of boys before the law enforcement agents intervened and saved him from the onslaught.

Shia LaBeouf has had quite the extensive history with getting physical, as he even earned a lawsuit from his ex-girlfriend FKA Twigs for assault, sexual battery, and emotional distress.

The star may have bitten more than he can chew with the wrong people in New Orleans, as a video of the actor getting a nasty beating from some boys has made its way out.

The actor could be seen on the floor surrounded by three men who took turns beating him while a fourth man joined the party right after hanging up a phone call.

As shared by TMZ, LaBeouf was shirtless in the video and basically appeared powerless while the boys yelled, "We gon' beat the f-ck out of you, boy. Chill!"

LaBeouf basically ruined his Mardi Gras celebration on a rough note when he allegedly got involved in a brawl at midnight outside a bar in the French Quarter.

As shared by The Blast, a video from the aftermath of the fight made its way out, and LaBeouf was seen talking to a man outside the bar with his back facing the camera and his tattoo on full display.

The scene soon panned to paramedics attending to the actor. However, an eyewitness confirmed that a worker in the bar had escorted LaBeouf out of the premises for unknown reasons before he got into a brawl.

Following the incident, he reportedly walked down the block and then returned to the front of the bar, where paramedics attended to him. He was then loaded into a parked ambulance, where he was spotted looking out of the window.

The 39-year-old was arrested after the brawl and was slapped with two charges of simple battery, although it cannot be confirmed if his actions were due to intoxication. LaBeouf started his "Fat Tuesday," joining other ravers in New Orleans to enjoy the moment, and reportedly began partying last Thursday.

Eyewitness recalled the actor exhibiting very wild behavior, including showing up shirtless, without cash, at the Ms. Mae 24/7 bar in New Orleans. The doorman at the bar claimed that the media personality was incoherent and "somewhat belligerent."

A bartender from a different establishment shared that LaBeouf was eventually asked to leave; he tried to be a celebrity bartender and constantly asked to use his credit card, seemingly ignoring the "Cash Only" sign at the establishment.

Two years before his recent arrest, LaBeouf took a different turn with his life as he leaned more into his spiritual side.

As noted by The Blast, the actor joined the Catholic Church last year and reportedly voiced his intention to become a deacon and take a detour from his life filled with past allegations of emotional and physical abuse.

The Capuchin Franciscans: Western America Province announced that LeBeouf has fully entered the Church this past weekend through the sacrament of confirmation, alongside a picture of him posing with priests and friars.

The actor has reportedly set his eyes on becoming a deacon since he starred in the 2022 movie, "Padre Pio," where he played the role of a 20th-century Italian priest, Francesco Forgione.

LaBeouf previously explained that he grappled with several sinister thoughts, including suicide as a means to escape life's hardship and find peace, until he began preparing his mind for a role that would draw him closer to a higher being.

FKA Twigs claimed LaBeouf subjected her to lengthy periods of abuse during their nine-month relationship, where he exhibited a thirst for control of all parts of their life. Twigs shared that he attempted to control all parts of their relationship and would set daily quotas of affection for her to fulfill.

According to Twigs, she felt controlled, confused, low, and beneath herself due to fear of leaving and knowing there was a lot of work to do for her in order to become her normal self again.

The singer revealed that she had to seek help when the relationship became overwhelming for her, and her next step in the healing phase is to sue her ex to cause a turnaround in discussions surrounding domestic abuse.
