Rose first gained mainstream attention through WWE’s Tough Enough before rising to prominence on NXT, where she held the NXT Women’s Championship for over 400 days, one of the longest reigns in the brand’s history. Since stepping away from the company, she has openly discussed how her business ventures have provided financial freedom and creative control, something she says she values deeply.

“I think people think WWE money in general is crazy, right? I’ve talked to a lot of people in the past, like, ‘You’ve gotta be doing really well at WWE,’ questioning maybe what I do now or whatever it may be," Rose said last year. "Yeah, I was doing well, and I thought I was making great money."

She continued, "But when you actually break it down, as independent contractors, you’re paying for your own hotels, you’re paying for your own cars, paying for your own gas, paying for your own food, you’re paying for your own clothes that you need to be wearing, and not only that, we have to look a certain part, most of us, spend a lot of money on ring gear, all those things."

"After it’s all said and done and Uncle Sam comes, and it’s time to pay for your taxes…,” Rose added.

While fan accounts continue to spotlight her bikini bombshell moments, Mandy Rose hasn’t completely shut the door on a potential WWE return.

In a 2025 exclusive interview with Card Player, Rose made it clear she’d be open to a conversation, especially if it involved someone she respects. “I would definitely take the phone call if Triple H rang,” she said. “I would love to have a conversation. We can even iron out some things, maybe from the past that didn’t go as planned.”

However, the former NXT Women’s Champion emphasized that any comeback would need to be financially worthwhile and tied to a meaningful storyline.

The 35-year-old also revealed that she never had the opportunity to properly discuss her release with WWE management, something that still lingers. “I’ve never been able to have a conversation with anyone that I knew or had a relationship with about being fired,” she explained. “It was like, okay, no one’s going to give me a little explanation here.”

For now, Rose appears focused on her thriving ventures outside the company, but if the right storyline and the right paycheck come calling, she’s not ruling out stepping back into the spotlight.
