Believe it or not, former First Lady Michelle Obama is a massive fan of the "Real Housewives" franchise.

During a segment of her podcast, "IMO," the mother of two opened up about some of her favorite moments from the franchise, and even gave a shoutout to one specific OG.

Michelle Obama Has Love For 'Real Housewives Of New Jersey' Star Teresa Giudice

Speaking with her brother, Craig Robinson, on the latest episode of "IMO," Michelle answered which past "Real Housewives" scene has been her favorite.

Although the "Becoming" author confessed it's tough to pick just one moment, she had no trouble recalling Teresa Giudice's table flip during season 1.

Later in the show, Michelle mimicked Giudice's actions from the early "RHONJ" episode during which she slammed her hands on the table, calling her co-star, Danielle Staub, a "prositution wh-re," and later flipped the table upside down.

As the episode continued, Michelle answered a second question, in which the former FLOTUS recommended a specific Bravo program to some of their listeners.

"I watch them all," Michelle said before speaking about the status of "RHONJ."

"New Jersey is going through some stuff right now," she added. "Because it wasn't even clear if they were going to film together."

Michelle's assessment is spot on. Bravo benched the New Jersey series after its 2024 season due to fractures within the cast.

As Michelle mentioned, the primary cause of strife was Giudice's ongoing feud with her brother, Joe Gorga, and his wife, Melissa.

"It got ugly," Michelle said. "It's a good one, cause the Jersey folks don't play."

This isn't the first time Michelle has spoken with her "IMO" listeners about her love of Bravo and unscripted television.

During another episode, Michelle also admitted to keeping up with some of the network's newest shows, including "Next Gen NYC," which consists of Riley Burruss, Gia Giudice, and Arianna Biermann—all children of major players in the "Real Housewives" franchise.

"I watched the first two episodes, and I'm just like, 'Oh, they're starting the babies off early,'" Michelle said in the summer of 2025.

During the same chat, Michelle broke down the striking similarities between the world of "Real Housewives" and professional sports.

"There's drama in sports. If I listen to ESPN for an hour, it's like watching The Real Housewives of Atlanta. You know? It's the same drama, and they're yelling at each other, and they don't get along," she said. "I mean, Stephen A. Smith, he's just like every other talk show host."

"I'm like, 'What's the difference?' It's just sociological drama. The fact that people over seasons of working together still can't get along, they still have the same arguments — and it's not just women, but this happens in sports, too," she added.

While Michelle pointed out the friction, Giudice has actually turned a corner with her brother and sister-in-law.

At BravoCon 2025, Melissa said that after years of incessant feuding, they decided to bury the hatchet.

"We are in a different place than we were a couple months ago. Let's just say that… everybody's working on it. We're working on it. We're trying to move forward, and we've, you know, hashed a lot of things out privately without all of this. And I think that's a good thing," Melissa said.

With the "Real Housewives" franchise hitting its 20th anniversary later this year, Bravo is gearing up for a special "Ultimate Girls Trip" featuring legends like Giudice and NeNe Leakes.

In a previous interview, according to The Blast, Giudice reflected on her time on the show and expressed gratitude that so many special moments were documented.

"I had my daughter on season 2. I love that I can look back and see videos of my parents. They're no longer here with me, so I love that I can see that," she said. "There are so many milestones. Gia graduating eighth grade, they showed that, graduating high school, going to college. There are so many milestones that there are too many to name."
