The frantic search for Savannah Guthrie's mother, Nancy Guthrie, is now approaching the two-week mark, with everyone involved doing all they can to bring her back safely.
Yet, an unidentified individual, who claims to have information on the kidnapper, has sent out a new ransom note with a warning.
Authorities have since asked Nancy Guthrie's neighbors to hand in surveillance footage from doorbells, phones, and cars, as experts suggest the suspected kidnapper is an amateur.
Author Of New Nancy Guthrie Ransome Note Complains About 'Not Being Taken Seriously'

As investigations into the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie continue, a ransom note was sent to TMZ in which the writer stated, "I am not being taken seriously."
According to the news outlet, the note was received around 11 am on Thursday and is suspected to have been authored by the same person who demanded one bitcoin in exchange for information about the "Today" show host's mother's abduction.
The unidentified individual demanded that the payment be made in bitcoin, worth around $65,000, so that they can maintain anonymity and lie low, amid fears of retribution.
The person also expressed fears he may be "incriminated like that Carlos guy," referencing FedEx delivery driver Carlos Palazuelos, who was detained and later released without charge in connection with Nancy's disappearance.
Ever since the incident happened, the suspected abductor has taken to sending ransom notes to the news outlet to communicate and make demands. However, the recent letters seem to be from a person willing to share information on the kidnapper.
Investigators Have Found A Pair Of Black Gloves

All hands are on deck to get to the root of the matter, as pictures obtained by the New York Post showed that law enforcement mounted a tent at the front door while taping off everyone from the crime scene.
However, the tent was later brought down, as well as Nancy's Ring camera, which had parts of it broken off after the break-in.
Investigators have asked that all footage pertaining to Nancy's disappearance over the last month be turned in.
That covers video records from security cams, doorbells, phones, vehicles, and people from January 1 to February 2, a day after she went missing from her home in Tucson, Arizona.
Reports suggest more than 18,000 tips, including over 4,000 calls, have emerged from the widespread call for information, as authorities confirm a pair of black gloves was found after the search was expanded.
The gloves have reportedly been submitted for DNA analysis, but it remains unclear if investigators believe they belong to Nancy's suspected abductor.
Expert Reveals The Suspect Is Likely Not A 'Trained Assassin'

Surveillance clips from Nancy's doorbell camera have since revealed moments when an armed thug broke into her house.
However, a former FBI special agent, after seemingly going through the clip, asserted that the thug was an amateur and likely not a "trained assassin."
Weighing in on the clip, retired FBI supervisory special agent James Gagliano expressed disgust at the way the suspect held his gun, while adding that the discovered glove could be a "margin of victory" for investigators.
"It does not look like a trained assassin or somebody who's been doing this a long time," he told "Fox & Friends" on Thursday morning.
"I look at the gun, I've never ever seen somebody carry a weapon that way. I carried a weapon in the service of my country for 33 years. I have never seen somebody carry it that way," Gagliano added.

It comes after the Guthrie family released a video message directed to the kidnappers, asking them to reach out and prove they've actually got Nancy.
"Whoever is out there holding our mother, we want to hear from you," Savannah's brother Camron said in a video message. "We haven't heard anything directly. We need you to reach out, and we need a way to communicate with you so we can move forward."
"We have to know that you have our mom," Camron continued before adding that his family "want to talk" with the kidnapper and are "waiting for contact."
