A Third Ransom Note Was Recently Sent, Demanding One Bitcoin For Information On The Suspect

On Wednesday, February 11, TMZ revealed that a third ransom note was sent to the outlet demanding one Bitcoin, which is worth approximately $66,000, in exchange for information about Nancy Guthrie's abduction.
Per the outlet, the sender of the ransom note alleged they have tried unsuccessfully to reach out to two of Guthrie's children, daughter Annie and son Camron, both siblings of "Today" show co-host Savannah Guthrie, via text message and email.
"If they want the name of the individual involved, then I want 1 Bitcoin to the following wallet. Time is more than relevant," the note read.
TMZ also confirmed the Bitcoin address used for the latest ransom request is authentic, but a different one from the address that was used for the previous ransom demand.
The outlet said the ransom note was forwarded to the FBI.

Former FBI Agent Shares Guthrie's Neighborhood Helped Abductor Get Away

While speaking on "Fox & Friends," retired FBI agent James Gagliano said that the secluded layout of Nancy Guthrie's neighborhood is a likely factor in her abductor's avoiding detection.
"I want you to think about Manhattan. This is exactly the opposite to that. This is almost like a Jackson Pollock painting … The way that the routes go in and out, the ingress could have been one way, and the egress could have been a different way," he said.
"There are multiple exits here," Gagliano added, per the New York Post. "Some of them are covered by those dome traffic lights that keep an eye on traffic, determine whether or not the signals are working on time, and keep in line the traffic patterns. Some of them aren't."
