Bad Bunny has found a big supporter in Meghan McCain!
As the critics keep hammering on the six-time Grammy winner's performance at the Super Bowl, McCain has made it clear she sees nothing wrong with the show.
The backlash has stretched from Donald Trump's negative review to members of Congress calling for investigations into NBC and the NFL for broadcasting the show.
Meghan McCain Defends Bad Bunny From Congressman While Calling Herself His 'Biggest Stan'

McCain took to showing she was well pleased with the Puerto Rican star since he took the stage in Santa Clara and didn't keep quiet when Congressman Randy called for an investigation into the NFL and NBC over the halftime broadcast.
Fine announced on X that he had sent a letter to FCC Chairman Brendan Carr, requesting a probe into what he described as "woke garbage" aired during the Super Bowl.
He argued that children were exposed to inappropriate content and insisted on accountability. McCain responded to his post writing, "Could you be a bigger cancel culture dork?"
The former "The View" co-host defending the rapper comes after she revealed that the piling criticism the 31-year-old singer received only strengthened her support for him.
"Been listening to nothing but Bad Bunny since the Super Bowl," McCain shared on X. "Congrats to all the lunatics who have inadvertently turned me into the biggest Bad Bunny stan on the planet now." She further stated her favorite songs were "Titi Me Pregunto" and "NuevaYol."
Congressman Andy Ogles Calls for Investigation Into Bad Bunny's Halftime Broadcast

Fine is not the only lawmaker pushing for scrutiny over Bad Bunny's Super Bowl performance.
According to The Blast, Congressman Andy Ogles is also mounting the same pressure, citing that acts displayed on the show are "illegal" to be shown on public airways.
Ogles pointed at the lyrics of the songs performed, claiming they "openly glorified sodomy and countless other unspeakable depravities." He alleged that there were displays of gay sexual acts and women dancing inappropriately on a broadcast that children were watching.
He then warned that the "American culture would not be mocked or corrupted without consequences." Adding to the long list of critics, Donald Trump weighed in with a harsh review of the show.
Per The Blast, Trump called it "one of the worst" before condemning the language and the dancing, which he called "disturbing" for young people.
Meghan McCain and John Mellencamp Applaud Bad Bunny's Super Bowl Performance

Long before doubling down on her defense of Bad Bunny, McCain had already made her admiration clear just as the show ended. She emphasized that not everything has to be seen politically and pushed back against the critics.
"I'm sorry, but I just genuinely question your taste level if you didn't enjoy the Bad Bunny halftime show," McCain quipped, per The Blast. "And everything in life doesn't have to be ruined with politics."
Rock legend John Mellencamp also expressed his support, saying he admired the artist for proudly standing up for his culture on one of the world's biggest stages.
Bad Bunny Backlash Costs Jill Zarin a New Reality TV Role

While some celebrities applauded the halftime show, others voiced strong disapproval.
"Real Housewives of New York City" alum Jill Zarin openly criticized the performance, sharing her frustration over the Grammy winner's singing entirely in Spanish.
She also took issue with his gestures during a broadcast widely viewed by families. Following her comments, producers of the upcoming "RHONY" spin-off, "The Golden Life," announced their decision to sever ties with Zarin, which the reality TV star was not pleased with.
As The Blast reported, Zarin claimed E! Network failed to allow her to resolve the situation even after she deleted the original post.
How Bad Bunny Made History With Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Representation at The Super Bowl

In the midst of controversies, Bad Bunny's show also marked a significant cultural milestone by featuring Puerto Rican Sign Language (LSPR) interpreters, according to The Blast.
Although American Sign Language (ASL) is typically used at major events, LSPR serves approximately 220,000 deaf Puerto Ricans and carries distinct linguistic and cultural characteristics. However, experts deemed the language endangered.
Celimar Rivera Cosme served as the LSPR interpreter and was hired personally by the NFL.
