Zach Bryan was unimpressed by the Turning Point USA (TPUSA) All-American Halftime Show.

The country music artist called out the Charlie Kirk conservative foundation in a since-deleted post, slamming them as childish for running their own event because they disliked Bad Bunny's Super Bowl headliner.

The TPUSA ran their own halftime show to rival Bad Bunny's gig, with Kid Rock as their headliner. As far as Zach Bryan is concerned, they did a terrible job.

In a since-deleted Instagram Story post, Bryan slammed the TPUSA for running their own halftime event to diss Bad Bunny's Super Bowl performance. He argued that the event had nothing to do with politics and shouldn't have been made into a childish affair.

"I don't care what side you're on. A bunch of adults throwing temper tantrums and their own halftime show is embarrassing as hell and the most cringe sh-t on the planet," Bryan wrote, per The Daily Mail. He reportedly echoed similar sentiments during the February 8 event.

At the time, Bryan shared a picture of someone using their hand to cover the TV during Bad Bunny's performance while watching Kid Rock's show on their phone. "What Kid Rock actually thinks is happening across America," Bryan captioned the post.

While Bryan and other celebrities were unimpressed with Kid Rock's performance, the singer and the TPUSA believed their halftime show was a huge success. Kid Rock recently shared his thoughts about Bad Bunny's Super Bowl performance during an interview.

The entertainer appeared virtually on Fox News' "The Ingraham Angle" on February 9, noting that, like most people, he did not understand a word of Bad Bunny's Spanish performance. "I saw there's a lot of dancers and a lot of big to-do stuff," Kid Rock continued.

"You know, he said he wanted to have a dance party; it looked like he had one," Kid Rock added. He added that he wasn't a fan of Bad Bunny's performance; however, he did not fault the singer but the NFL for choosing him to headline the halftime show.

The TPUSA Announces Plans For Another Halftime Show

Kid Rock blamed the NFL for putting Bad Bunny in a bad position and forcing the TPUSA to take matters into their own hands. His words followed the organization's announcement to launch another halftime show following their alleged success with this year's event.

Andrew Kolvet, a spokesperson for the TPUSA, shared the news during his appearance on "One Nation with Brian Kilmeade." He claimed they garnered at least 20 million views across social platforms from their halftime show, believing those numbers would increase with time.

Based on their reported success, Kolvet declared the TPUSA could achieve greater results with a year of planning, meaning they would run another halftime show in 2027. "We gotta do it for the country. And this was a massive success, and we were grateful to do it," the spokesperson said.

TPUSA's lovers weren't the only ones unimpressed by Bad Bunny's performance, as some celebrities fell into the disapproving category. The Blast shared that R&B star Chris Brown made the list for dropping what many fans saw as a shady comment about the Puerto Rican rapper's halftime show.

"I THINK IT'S SAFE TO SAY.. THEY NEED ME!" Brown wrote on his Instagram Story alongside a winking face emoji. While his comment could be seen as playful, many were displeased and labeled him a hater for not allowing Bad Bunny to enjoy his moment.

Some called Brown "corny," while others dubbed him "bitter," and a few argued that he wasn't Super Bowl material. Despite the criticisms, both the NFL and Bad Bunny have stood by their decision to represent the Latina community at the Super Bowl.

Zach Bryan Previously Dropped A Song About ICE

A month before Bryan dropped his reaction to Kid Rock's halftime show, The Blast reported that he had released a song about ICE. He initially teased the track in October 2025, revealing part of the lyrics which criticized the actions of immigration officers.

"And ICE is gonna come bust down your door, try to build a house no one builds no more," part of the lyrics read. At the time, the Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem slammed the song and Bryan.

Noem argued that the track attacked the individuals who were doing their jobs and trying to keep the streets safe. She also declared that she was happy she had never been a fan of Bryan's music. The singer finally released the song following the fatal ICE shooting of Renée Good.
