British singer-songwriter Jessie J turned to social media to clarify some rumors about her. Some fans are speculating that she is carrying her second child, and she has received inquiries about it as well. She posted a short message on Instagram shutting down the rumors, using humor and honesty to address her fans directly.

Jessie J Is Not Pregnant

On January 8, Jessie J, born Jessica Cornish, posted on Instagram Stories, writing that she has received numerous messages and comments from people asking whether she was pregnant with her second child.

She answered the question directly, saying, "No. I am not." She did, however, share where the speculation might have originated. The singer was in Las Vegas last week for her No Secrets tour, and in one of her shows, she wore a white, lace cat suit that showed off her curves.

"I just have a little belly since Sky," she wrote, mentioning her son, adding, "BUT I also decided to wear a skin tight catsuit on the last day of my period/ovulation bloatation day."

The 37-year-old then concluded her post by writing, "Women can have bellies and NOT be pregnant. What an insane thought. It's mad right?"

The Singer Struggled With Infertility

Jessie J has been open about her journey to parenthood and her struggles with infertility. In 2018, during her concert in London, she dedicated her song, "Four Letter Word," to those in the audience who struggled with infertility.

She then shared that sometime in 2014, she was told that she was infertile, something that she chose to keep private until that night. "I don't tell you guys for sympathy because I'm one of millions of women and men that have gone through this and will go through this," she told the audience.

She wrote the song "Four Letter Word" to cope with the devastating news, and she shared it with the world for those who are also struggling with infertility.

Despite the diagnosis, Jessie J was adamant about being a mother. "I'm going to have children, trust me. When the doctor told me, my reaction was, 'Oh hell no'," she told the crowd, per Independent.

Jessie J Opened Up About Her Miscarriage

In November 2021, the "Price Tag" singer opened up about having a miscarriage, sharing on Instagram that carrying a child was all she's ever wanted. Despite her infertility diagnosis, she was able to get pregnant, which she called a "miracle," but sadly, she miscarried.

Jessie J described it as the "loneliest feeling in the world," but despite the situation, she remained positive that she could get pregnant again.

As previously reported by The Blast, the singer woke up one morning knowing something was wrong. She went for a scan and was told that her baby's heart had stopped beating.

Regardless of the tragedy, Jessie J decided not to cancel a performance that night and shared on social media, "What I do know is that I want to sing tonight. Not because I'm avoiding the grief or the process, but because I know singing tonight will help me."

The Singer Gave Birth To Her Son In 2023

In May 2023, Jessie J gave birth to her son, Sky, whom she shares with her longtime partner, Chanan Colman.

The singer happily shared the news with her followers, posting on Instagram Stories and saying, "My son entered this world and my heart grew twice the size. The feeling is indescribable. I am flying in love. He is magic. He is all my dreams come true. He is my whole world."

According to Jessie J, Sky was born via caesarean section despite preparing herself for a natural birth. However, weeks before her due date, her scan showed that her baby was positioned the wrong way, and she decided to have a C-section to ensure her baby's safety.

Jessie J Isn't In A Rush To Get Married

The "Bang Bang" singer and her partner have been together since 2021, but as she told People in May 2025, she isn't rushing to tie the knot despite having discussions about marriage.

If that time comes, however, Jessie J said she would like their son to be a little bit older so he could participate in the ceremony and have memories of the event. "We have a child. I feel like that is the most locked in that we can feel with each other," she said.
