Quinton Aaron On Going The Healthy Route And Dabbling In Ozempic

Speaking on his successful weight transformation last October, the star expressed that he felt very blessed and overwhelmed after shedding a significant amount. While he tried to succeed using Ozempic in 2024, he had to shelve it after suffering an allergic reaction.

The negative reaction of the drug made him turn to intermittent fasting, eating healthy, cutting back on sugar and carbs, and doing lots of cardio in the bedroom with the cooperation of his wife.

All these smart measures resulted in the star dropping down from a previous weight of 575 pounds to 375 pounds nearly two decades apart.

Quinton revealed that seeing those numbers made him realize he was eating his health away and heading for an early grave. The star rose to fame following his breakout lead role as Michael Oher in the popular sports drama film in 2009 "The Blind Side."

The 41-year-old pulled the movie to massive box office success due to his perfect portrayal of the NFL offensive lineman with his 6ft8 height and 300-pound weight. Quinton's gig grossed over $300 million worldwide with a Best Picture nomination at the Oscars.

The Patient's Family Raised Some Concerns

Quinton's brother, Jarred, broke his silence earlier this month about some of their concerns over the actor's wife and her status as being capable of making crucial life decisions, especially while she is still married to another man.

The Blast noted that the movie star's family claimed Margarita was making these critical decisions with a shadow of doubt cast over her credibility as a registered nurse.

Quinton's family stated that they found some very alarming details that may point towards Margarita being an imposter, and they have taken steps to investigate further.

Margarita has since come out to refute the claims, explaining that she and the actor got spiritually married and she does not have the power of attorney, nor are reports about her making medical decisions during the hospitalization true.

She also came for Jarred, questioning why he would live with her and Quinton in the same home if she were a terrible person, as claimed. Margarita, who is reportedly a makeup artist and a registered nurse, got married to the actor in 2024 after they met on TikTok.

He had credited his wife for helping him get over his depression, emotional eating, and other issues he struggled with, although she barely takes the credit for doing the work.

Margarita explained to concerned fans and well-wishers that her husband started showing some signs of health troubles days leading up to him collapsing in their home.

She revealed that he woke up one morning feeling very sore, but no one suspected it was anything more serious than a simple symptom of insufficient sleep.

The symptoms seemingly extended into days after that when the actor began complaining of pain in his neck and back, especially while climbing up the stairs, until his legs suddenly gave out and he collapsed.

Margarita explained that she instantly rushed to help him up the stairs and lay him down before calling emergency services. She noted that Quinton kept slipping in and out of consciousness on their way to the hospital, which prompted the doctors to recommend life support.

While Margarita shared news that the actor was still fighting for his life, the actor's manager emphasized that he was not in any danger, but in a very stable condition.
