Jennifer Aniston is probably back to looking over her shoulders once again with news of her alleged stalker.
The actress had a nerve-wracking experience after a man crashed into the premises of her California mansion, and she has been trying to ensure her alleged stalker is entirely off the streets. Contrary to what she hoped for, the case closed with a treatment plan outside jail, giving the actress more reason to be unsettled.
During the stalker experience, Jennifer Aniston has leaned on her partner, Jim Curtis, for support and to help with her mental health. She has also upgraded security measures around her house to increase privacy and maintain her safety.
Jennifer Aniston's Alleged Stalker Gets Treatment Plan Out Of Jail

After long months of deliberations and court appearances, Aniston's alleged stalker has been released from jail.
The Mississippi native, Jimmy Carwyle, was taken into custody on May 5, 2025, after he damaged Aniston's property by smashing his Chrysler PT Cruiser into the gates of her $21 million villa in California, while she was home. This commotion resulted in over $50,000 in damages and left the actress terrified.
The charges laid against Carwyle were felony vandalism and felony stalking, both of which he pleaded not guilty. He was then found incompetent to stand trial by an L.A. judge, which he initially objected to, requesting for a second opinion.
Following several postponed hearings, court documents obtained exclusively by The Daily Mail show that the 49-year-old has been evaluated by an expert and given an out-of-jail treatment plan as part of a mental health diversion program for life.
The judge orders that he take all his prescribed medications, is not allowed to possess any dangerous or deadly weapons, and must not consume alcohol, marijuana, or other illicit drugs.
Carwyle is also not allowed to leave the program unauthorised and has been ordered to "be placed in the smallest available home program within the Office of Diversion and Reentry, and enroll and participate with a contingency management program for treatment of stimulant narcotics addiction."
The Actress Wanted Jimmy Carwyle To Remain Behind Bars

All the rules and regulations binding her alleged stalkers' release might not be enough to give the actress peace, as they do not align with her wishes. Her lawyers had previously insisted that he be sent to a locked state hospital.
However, currently, in addition to the previously stated conditions, the 49-year-old has been ordered to wear a GPS-active ankle monitor. He must also stay at least one mile away from and have no contact with the victim, her home, and any of her representatives or agents.
Aniston's lawyers stressed in a September 5 filing that she was living in ongoing fear that her alleged stalker would continue to fixate on her and "return to stalking her at the first available juncture" till he gets appropriate treatment in the proper setting.
The movie star's legal counsel further argued that the Carwyle posed a significant risk to her owing to his history of domestic violence and drug abuse.
Her legal representatives emphasized that releasing Carwyle to the community was both dangerous and represented a far less clinically effective and risky path for his optimal mental health treatment.
Although the Defendant denied that he had a mental illness, he admitted that he liked getting high on methamphetamine.
The 'Friends' Star And Her Ex Both Faced Home Security Breaches

While Aniston was battling with her alleged stalker, her ex-husband, Brad Pitt, experienced a home invasion, but in a different vein. Burglars reportedly broke into his Los Feliz home and ransacked the place.
The former lovers reportedly became paranoid after the incident and began taking extra precautions for their safety measures. As shared by The Blast, Pitt planned on installing a panic room and round-the-clock security measures in his new place.
He also wanted a watchtower and anti-drone tech. Both parties stepped up their security personnel and took steps to ensure their abodes remain impenetrable.
Sources close to Aniston revealed that the incident left her traumatized, and she immediately made plans to move from Hollywood to her Montecito ranch. Pitt, on the other hand, became more alert, checking every door and window in his house.

The Hollywood star started dating Jim Curtis, who so happens to be a hypnotherapist. His profession has come in handy during this period as he helps her deal with the mental impact of the incident.
Her encounter with her alleged stalker took a toll on her mental health, but thanks to helpful "breathing exercises and visualization" hacks by her boyfriend, she has pulled through. The Blast shared that Curtis' methods have helped his lover deal with the anxiety and tension she experienced following the incident.
Curtis also helped restore her peace of mind as she battled intense insomnia since Carwyle rammed into her home gates. To take her mind off things, the couple leaned towards travelling to wellness destinations.
The lovebirds took trips to the Ventana Big Sur retreat and the Sunset Tower Hotel in Hollywood, among other places.
Inside Jennifer Aniston's Relationship With Her New Beau

The lovebirds were first spotted together in Mallorca, Spain, in July 2025, and this marked the beginning of their relationship rumors. They did not confirm their romance until November, when Aniston shared a cute photo of them for Curtis's birthday on social media.
Before her confirmation, the 50-year-old was present at the season three premiere of "The Morning Show" supporting his boo, but they did not take any photographs together.
Curtis detailed the background of their relationship while appearing on the "Today" show last month, to promote his book, "The Book of Possibility." The Blast reported that when asked how he met his lover, he replied:
"We were just introduced by friends. That's it. We found out that we had mutual friends, and we started to just chat."
He explained that their relationship took time to develop. "It took a long time, we chatted for a long time, and we became close," Curtis said.
