Professional skateboarder Tony Hawk has spoken out about his alleged connection to Jeffrey Epstein, pushing back against a claim that he was married on Epstein Island.
In a social media post, Hawk listed the dates of his marriages and where they were held, providing proof that the accusation against him isn't true.
Tony Hawk's Name Was Mentioned In The Epstein Files

On January 30, the Department of Justice released over 3.5 million pages of information, including photos and videos, related to disgraced financier Epstein. This came after Congress passed the Epstein Files Transparency Act in November 2025.
In one of the documents that showed an email, the skateboarder's name was mentioned. The email discussed a victim of human trafficking, who disclosed that she was taken to Epstein Island when she was 13 years old. Part of the document reads, "[Redacted] reported that she was there when Prince Edward was there and when Tony Hawk got married on the Island."
Epstein Island, formally known as Little Saint James, is a private island in the United States Virgin Islands that Epstein owned from 1998 until he died in 2019.
The Famous Skateboarder Sets The Record Straight

In a post on Instagram Stories on February 5, Hawk refuted the claims, saying that he was not married on Epstein Island. "Here are the facts and timelines of my nuptials. And I apologize if they don't fit a narrative of nonsense," the 57-year-old athlete wrote.
Hawk has been married four times, and he then proceeded to list the years when he was married and where. He added that he had never met Epstein, nor had he ever visited his infamous island. "This is all easily verifiable information. Facts are not fungible," he added.

In 1990, Hawk married his high school sweetheart, Cindy Dunbar, in Fallbrook, California. As he said in his post, the ceremony was held "at home." Their only child, Hudson Riley, was born in 1992, and the couple divorced a year later.
In 1996, he married Erin Lee at the Hilton Hotel in San Diego, California. They welcomed a son, Spencer Anthony, in 1999. Two years later, their second son, Keegan, was born. Hawk and Lee divorced in 2004.
Hawk's third marriage was in 2006. He married Lhotse Merriam in Fiji at Tavarua Surf Island. Merriam gave birth to their daughter, Kadence Clover, in 2008. They were divorced in 2011.
In 2015, Hawk married his current wife, Catherine Goodman, at Adare Manor in Ireland. In an interview with The Sydney Morning Herald, the skater said of Goodmand, "She grew up in Detroit as a punk rocker who skated in the '80s. We connect on a deep level in terms of our approach to life."
In the same interview, he briefly talked about his three failed marriages, saying that each relationship was different, but they ultimately failed because of how he prioritized his traveling and time during his career.
Tony Hawk Apologized To Photographer Mark Epstein

In his Instagram Stories post, Hawk explained that one of the guests at his Fiji wedding was professional photographer Mark Epstein. Hawk said the photographer licensed some shots he took to Getty Images, and while he shares a last name with the convicted sex offender, they are not related to each other.
Coincidentally, Jeffrey Epstein's brother is also named Mark Epstein, nicknamed Puggy. A Reddit post on February 4 alleges that Epstein's brother took the photos at Hawk's Fiji wedding, with one user writing, "It's very confusing but at the least Mark being the photographer shows Tony Hawk has a connection [to] some extent with the Epstein name."
At least one user wasn't so quick to draw conclusions, posting, "The wedding was in Fiji, and it's a different Mark Epstein... Y'all have got to do better."
Hawk concluded his Instagram Stories post by tagging Mark Epstein's accounts, adding, "Sorry you also got pulled into the misinformation vortex."
Many Other Famous Names Are In The Epstein Files

The documents released related to the Epstein Files include a mix of high-profile personalities, including celebrities, business leaders, and other prominent individuals. The files shed light on the extensive network surrounding Epstein, revealing connections that have been fueling public speculation.
As The Blast previously reported, billionaire Bill Gates was one of those people, and he has repeatedly denied having done illegal activities with Epstein, though he admittedly spent some time with him. "Every minute I spent with him, I regret, and I apologize that I did that," he explained.
