The Podcaster Recalled How Blind Trust In A Doctor Did Her No Good

Mellencamp spilled some hard truth during her conversation with Kyle Richards that, despite her regular visits to the doctors, she left out the part where she ought to ask for scans as the treatment went on to check how much progress was being made.

In an interview, the Bravo alum confessed that she left it all to the doctors because she believed they knew what they were doing, and she did not do any in-depth research about her stage 2 diagnosis due to fear of the unknown.

The star noted that there is now a clear difference between self-diagnosis and being an advocate of health because she felt that if anything was amiss in her system, the doctors would have discovered it.

The star then encouraged everyone following her story to actively plan for unforeseen health issues and make it a priority.

The TV star urged everyone to trust their gut instinct and never hesitate to dash to the hospital at the first sign of sickness, as it had happened to her once, so she has learned an eternal lesson from that episode.
