Kelsea Ballerini's Hubby Rescues Her After Running Out Of Gas; 'Today, I Lost'

Kelsea Ballerini has been playing a dangerous game since she was 16-years-old and she finally lost!

The 27-year-old country singer revealed that she had to be rescued by her husband, Morgan Evans, on Thursday, July 15. Ballerini shared a picture of herself stranded on the side of the road in a pair of Levi Daisy Dukes and a matching denim jacket by Aerie. Don't forget her killer brown cowboy boots by Free People. She was holding a gas can and gave the camera a sarcastic smile and a thumbs up.

"been playing the 'how far can I get on an empty tank' game since I got my first set of keys. today, I lost. ?" she wrote on social media.

When Kelsea's ride finally stopped, she managed to pull over to the side of the road and took to her IG story to express her shock. "I've never, ever run out of gas!" she exclaimed. "I've always gotten to the gas station right in time, and... it happened! I'm on the side of the road!"

Even superstars need a helping hand now and then. Luckily for Kelsea, her husband, Morgan, was able to give her a helping hand. "Thank you, honey," Ballarini said as she sneakily filmed Morgan filling her tank with some emergency gas. He laughed at the situation and the fact that she used the opportunity for some killer social media content.

The great gas debacle had a happy ending, with Kelsea finally making it to the gas station and learning her lesson.

"I learned my lesson... putting a full tank in, and I won't let it get too empty ever again," she said with a wink. "What a time! What a day!"
