Channing Tatum Injured Again Months After 'Avengers: Doomsday' Mishap

Channing Tatum has added another injury to his record!

The Hollywood heartthrob is not only famous for his looks and dance skills, as he has garnered thousands of fans for his phenomenal acting. However, being a great actor sometimes requires him to pull off his own stunts.

Channing Tatum has sustained multiple injuries while filming and recently revealed he needed surgery for another mishap. However, it is unclear if his latest injury is linked to a movie, as it comes months after his "Avengers: Doomsday" revelation.

Tatum announced his latest injury on Instagram, sharing a black-and-white photo of himself getting prepped for surgery. He posed in a hospital gown, half-lying on the bed, and wearing a hairnet askew on his head. He lamented his situation in the post's caption, writing:

"Just another day. Another challenge. This one is gonna be hard. But whatever. Let's get it in."

Tatum shared more information about his injury on his Instagram Story, sharing two X-rays. The first revealed the bones in his shoulder had separated, while the second showed a screw holding the bones in place. "Screwed shoulder. Yay," Tatum sarcastically captioned the update.

Although Tatum did not share how he sustained the shoulder injury, his post generated thousands of comments from concerned fans and celebrities. Kiya Cole, mother of Disney alum Skai Jackson, encouraged the actor to stay strong.

"You got this, boo boo! You'll be back in no time," Cole wrote. Actor Harry Carter echoed similar sentiments, wishing Tatum a speedy recovery. The love continued, with Tatum's girlfriend, Inka Williams, adding, "Big bad wolf [white heart emoji] we got disss."

Author Danielle Claudio saw the silver lining in Tatum's situation, noting that "sometimes the 'forced' rest comes at the best time." Fans also expressed their support for Tatum, praying for his recovery without complications.

Tatum's shoulder surgery comes months after he revealed in September 2025 that he suffered an injury on the set of "Avengers: Doomsday." While speaking to Variety, the TV personality explained that he was sidelined after getting wounded in the leg.

The actor, who enjoyed performing his own stunts, was forced to allow his stunt double to do the heavy lifting while he shot close-ups. Tatum confessed that the pain in his leg wasn't as bad as the pain in his heart, despite enduring intensive physical therapy.

"It's not about the pain I feel in the moment. It's knowing I can't take this back. And now I know what the next six months of my life will be like," Tatum explained. "I just hate getting old. In my mind, I'm literally still 30 years old — 26, if I'm honest."

The Marvel movie wasn't the first time Tatum had gotten a leg injury while filming, as a similar incident occurred during the production of 2025's "Roofman." He shared the story with Entertainment Weekly, revealing he sustained the wound while shooting a nude running scene.

"I mean, it wasn't great, because I'm butt naked, so I can't wear pads or anything," Tatum recalled. He noted that he injured himself while jumping up onto the bike rack and sustained another injury when performing a stunt to enter his character's hideout.

"I didn't make it over the edge of the hideaway, and I gashed my [leg]. I still have a scar from it on my leg, and we just had to glue it together and keep going," Tatum revealed. The incident came years after he sustained multiple injuries while filming 2014's "Foxcatcher."

Tatum's latest injury comes months after he reflected on the end of his marriage to Jenna Dewan. The Blast covered the story, reporting that he recalled channeling his experiences with his ex while filming "Roofman."

"Jenna and I are good now, but it was a painful break to have that fall apart, especially being so young," Tatum claimed. He noted that they had tried to save their marriage for about a year and a half, but ultimately failed to overcome their differences.

Tatum added that the most challenging part was co-parenting their daughter because he wanted to be around her all the time. The former couple, who fell in love while filming "Step Up," were embroiled in a six-year divorce battle over finances and custody arrangements.
