Lisa Rinna admits she experienced some genuine highs during her time on “The Traitors,” but has also opened up about a more difficult side of the game… one she says left her needing time to heal after her elimination.

Rinna endured a tearful exit from the series after being banished at the roundtable in Episode 7 of the ongoing fourth season.

The “Days of Our Lives” star notably clashed with Colton Underwood of “The Bachelor” and Rob Rausch from “Love Island” during her run on the show, tensions that she says contributed to her needing time to recover after her journey ended.

Rinna’s elimination from “The Traitors” unfolded in dramatic circumstances, following the infamous “black banquet,” where she was forced to discreetly murder a Faithful in the presence of the entire cast.

The former Bravo star chose Yam Yam Arocho as her victim, but the “Survivor” winner called her out as he was dragged from the castle, a moment that effectively sealed her fate in the game.

When it came time to plead her case at the roundtable, Rinna did not mount a convincing defense and was ultimately voted out.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly after her exit, the TV veteran claimed she no longer had the energy to keep fighting.

“I wanted to go home,” Rinna said. “I could care less at that point.”

The Actress Says The Show Took An Emotional Toll On Her

Before Rinna was eliminated from “The Traitors,” her daughter Amelia Gray Hamlin spoke about her mother’s experience on the show in a candid interview with Variety.

In the feature, Gray revealed that Rinna had been deeply stressed by her time on the show, particularly by having to play as a Traitor.

“I saw what that also does to a human being, having to lie and deceive for however many weeks or months,” Gray said. “That does something to your brain.”

The actress explained that her mother needed time to recover after her exit, something Rinna would later confirm.

“It did take me a minute to kind of recalibrate,” Rinna admitted. “It’s an intense experience, and so I needed a little time.”

“The end of ‘Housewives’ was very difficult for me,” she said. “It was just so nice to be me. I am just so grateful for the entire experience. Thank you.”

Rinna walked away from “RHOBH” in 2023, following a season marked by constant conflict, most notably with Kathy Hilton.

Rinna is set to release a memoir later this month, titled “You Better Believe I’m Gonna Talk About It.”
