The actor's family is worried after finding out details about his wife, whom he reportedly married in 2024. With new details emerging, both sides are disputing one another's claims as Aaron focuses on his recovery.

Aaron's brother, Jarred, spoke to TMZ, raising concerns over his brother's wife, Margarita Aaron. He claims Margarita is actually married to another man.

What worries "The Blind Side" actor's family is that Margarita is making "crucial and life-saving medical decisions" as Aaron's legal wife. Moreover, they have doubts about Margarita's credibility as a registered nurse. "I genuinely fear for my brother's life," Jarred said.

In a statement, the family said, "We have found some alarming details. We, as a family, believe Margarita isn't who she claimed to be to us. This has caused us to want to investigate her further."

Margarita Aaron Refutes The Claims

TMZ also reached out to Margarita, who refuted the claims against her. She explained that she and the 41-year-old "got spiritually married," adding that she does not have power of attorney, nor has she made crucial medical decisions during Aaron's recent hospitalization.

Additionally, Margarita questioned Jarred, saying that if he thinks she was "such a bad person," why did he live with her and his brother in the same home? According to Jarred, he wasn't aware that their marriage wasn't legal at that time.

Margarita's niece and daughter confirmed to TMZ that she is, in fact, married to another man.

Inside Margarita And Quinton Aaron's Relationship

As reported by People, Margarita is a makeup artist and registered nurse. She and Aaron met on TikTok, and they married in 2024.

Aaron shared glimpses of their relationship on social media, referring to her as his "wife" even before their spiritual wedding. He also spoke highly of Margarita to TMZ, saying, "Mentally, physically, and emotionally, she has been my confidant and shelter through my storms."

The actor has been open about his struggles with depression and emotional eating, factors that contributed to his weight. In October 2025, Aaron revealed that he shed more than 200 lbs. after a "come-to-Jesus kind of moment," as reported by Fox News.

"She's helped me get over my depression and so much more. She loves to tell people that she only does 5% and I do the other 95% but I believe she's much more important in my life than even she gives herself credit for," Aaron said of his wife.

Inside Quinton Aaron's Rare Medical Condition

In January, news broke that Aaron was rushed to the hospital after falling down the stairs due to his legs suddenly not functioning. At that time, Margarita provided updates, explaining that the actor had a blood infection and was on life support.

Tests were run to find the cause of the ailment, and Aaron was placed on antibiotics. The actor was said to be responsive and showed improvements daily. "He's a fighter; he's a very strong fighter," Margarita said, adding, "I believe God's got him, and he believes God's got him."

As previously reported by The Blast, Aaron's family revealed that the actor had a spinal stroke, but was recovering well. They thanked everyone for their prayers, love, and support.

According to the Cleveland Clinic, a spinal stroke happens when blood stops flowing to the spinal cord due to blood clots, or in some cases, hemorrhages. It rarely happens, and based on statistics, less than 1% of strokes are spinal strokes.

Aaron's family shared that the actor is still recovering in the hospital. No other details were shared, but common treatments include blood thinners or clot-busting medication. For some, stroke rehabilitation may also be needed, which includes physical therapy and occupational therapy.

Now, Aaron's priority is his health, which is why his family has chosen not to discuss the details about his wife with him right now. According to Jarred, they are waiting for Aaron to make a full recovery before they talk to him about their claims.
