Marjorie Taylor Greene had a lot to say about Donald Trump's administration, and it was far from positive.

The former Georgia rep slammed the president for selling a "lie" to Americans under the guise of Making America Great Again, and accused Trump of treating her unfairly.

In the past, Greene solidified herself as a strong Trump supporter. However, her views towards the president recently took a 360-degree turn, as she announced her resignation from Congress and washed her hands of him.

Marjorie Taylor Greene Brazenly Calls Out Donald Trump

During a candid talk with Kim Iversen on an episode of "The Kim Iversen Show," Greene did not hold back, expressing how she feels about Trump's administration.

She pointed fingers at the president for not following through on his promises to Make America Great Again and noted that people are now beginning to see through his thinly-veiled lies.

"MAGA is, I think, people are realizing, it was all a lie. It was a big lie for the people," she said.

The former congresswoman accused Trump of making allies with "big donor" countries. She noted that while people often think his actions are driven by the people around him, it's quite the opposite.

"People always think, 'Oh, it's his staff.' They want to blame everyone around him. There may be a point where people have to come to grips with this is Donald Trump," she added.

The 51-year-old businesswoman further pointed out that the boomer generation has been sold a lie, saying, "They're spoon-fed the propaganda on TV. And so I don't know how the political-industrial complex is going to continue to brainwash Americans ’cuz we're just not brainwashed anymore."

Greene's explosive statements came over two months after she unexpectedly announced her decision to resign from her seat in the House of Representatives.

According to People Magazine, she released a lengthy video on X, revealing that she was being treated unfairly by members of her own party and accused Trump of trying to "destroy" her.

In the speech, Greene said that she has "too much self-respect and dignity" for herself and her family, and she wouldn't want her "sweet district" to endure hate from "the President [they] all fought for."

Greene also claimed that the president "dumped tens of millions of dollars" against her and took a stance against him, saying, "I refuse to be a 'battered wife' hoping it all goes away and gets better."

Weeks after Greene announced her resignation, she brazenly pointed accusing fingers at Republicans, claiming that many of them did not support Trump from the start and only did so when he won the elections.

According to the former congresswoman, many people in the president's close circle started "kissing his a-s and decided to put on a MAGA hat for the first time" only after he topped the polls, per The Blast.

She added that Congressional Republicans were "terrified" to speak up or take a stance against the president for fear of what he would do if he took matters to Truth Social.

While some people accepted Greene's change in tone towards the president, Meghan McCain slammed it as a desperate attempt to rebrand.

She argued that the former congresswoman only announced her resignation, saying she did it as an attempt to get on "The View."

According to The Blast, McCain spoke about Greene's resignation, saying, "I don't care how often she auditions for a seat at The View - this woman is not moderate, and no one should be buying her pathetic attempt at rebrand."

Notably, Greene's reaction towards Trump's administration is a far cry from her stance towards him in 2024.

In a piece published by The Blast, Greene formerly sang praises about the president and even likened him to Jesus Christ.

During a rally in Las Vegas, Greene said that people are pointing out that Trump is a convicted felon, forgetting that Jesus Christ was also a convicted felon and was "murdered on the Roman cross."

During that same rally, Chair Michael McDonald also spoke praises about Trump, calling him the "greatest president" in his generation.
