The rapper's daughter, Cori Broadus, appeared online with some more heartbreaking comments following the loss of her infant daughter a few weeks after she was discharged from the intensive care unit.

Snoop Dogg's daughter shared the news that she was expecting a baby girl with Wayne Deuce in December 2024, stating that it was an unplanned pregnancy.

Cori shared a few emotional posts today on her story, expressing the heaviness in her heart over the loss of her baby girl. "I want to join you badly," the rapper's daughter wrote on a picture of herself and the baby lying in bed.

She followed up with another image of herself and Codi Dreaux, where she declared that her baby girl was supposed to outlive her and not the other way round.

Cori concluded her emotional post with another picture of her holding her baby girl up to her chest, and wrote, "waiting for someone to tell me to wake up, and this is just a bad dream."

Cori's 11-month-old daughter was born three days premature in late February 2025 and went on to spend months in the ICU under close supervision from the doctors.

The musician's fiancé also expressed his loss in an Instagram post of himself holding his daughter to his chest as she looks at him. Wayne Duece admitted that he has been the saddest ever since losing his child, but he is comforted by the fact that she is at peace, amid affirmations that he will always love her.

Wayne reshared heartfelt messages from friends and loved ones who sent in their condolences and love to honor the memory of Codi. Cori herself also shared a tribute by Codi's nurse, who shared a video of the baby in a crib.

In the heartfelt write-up, the nurse stated that she has been sad for 6 days and is dealing with the rollercoaster of losing someone so dear to her. "It was such a pleasure being my baby girl's nurse. I gave her one last bath, told her I loved her, and didn't even know I was getting her ready for Heaven," the nurse wrote.

The nurse emphasized that Codi's parents remain so dear to him, and their loss resonated very deeply with her.

Codi arrived in the loving arms of his parents as 2026 began, and Cori did not hesitate to inform the public that her bundle of joy was back home, safe and sound. The 26-year-old was overwhelmed with gratitude for "every prayer, every message, every ounce of love," emphasizing that "God heard them all."

As noted by The Blast, she shared a series of pictures of herself and the baby getting some cuddles in bed to the admiration and excitement of well-wishes in the comments. Unfortunately, Cori shared a few days later that things took a turn for the worse and she lost her child before January wrapped up.

Since making the announcement, several stars have flocked to her comment section with words of encouragement and comfort to the family, as recently as two days ago. Mariah The Scientist was among those who popped up in the comments, assuring Cori of her love as the family navigates through such trying times.

The Rapper's Daughter Welcomed Codi Dreaux Via C-section

As reported by The Blast, Cori revealed that when she welcomed her bundle of joy, she had to undergo a cesarean section due to the complicated nature of her pregnancy, which led to an early birth.

"Got to the doctors yesterday thinking I had a bad case of gas... whole time I was developing 'HELLP SYNDROME' which is very severe and can even cause death if untreated," the 26-year-old stated in the Instagram post.

Cori added that the doctors were practically thanking her for coming to the hospital on time and not hesitating, as it would have had a very damaging effect on her health. "Ladies, please listen to your bodies and don't believe everything you see on TikTok (talking to myself lowkey)," the singer concluded.

The musician, who was diagnosed with lupus at the age of six, had earlier revealed that her pregnancy was high-risk, but they were doing perfectly fine despite the concern.

Three years ago, the 23-year-old discussed on the "Karamo Show" that negative comments used to really get on her nerves, but she soon discovered the perfect way to handle her anger. 

Cori opened up about how it was difficult for her to move past the one negative comment in a sea of thousands of positive praises, which often made her sad.

She fortunately discovered how to block out the noise and prioritize silence while remaining laser-focused on the positive aspect of everything. Cori has had to wade through a sea of negative comments a few times in her adult life, especially surrounding her relationship with Wayne.

The musician had warned fans to consider seeing her as her own person and not just Snoop Dogg's daughter, following comments that claimed Wayne was only with her because her father was famous.

"I been dealing with this sh-t since high school, it's frustrating as f-ck, to have to question if that's the case. I hate it here, y'all f-ckn suck," Cori wrote in the Instagram post.
