‘Survivor’ Icon Cirie Fields Joined By Ozzy Lusth And Joe Hunter On The Grammys Red Carpet

‘Survivor’ fans were treated to a surprise crossover when franchise legends Cirie Fields, Ozzy Lusth, and Joe Hunter turned up in style to represent the show at the Grammy Awards.

The trio is all part of ‘Survivor’s’ landmark 50th season, which is set to debut on CBS later this month.

In a clip shared on the show’s Instagram page, Hunter is seen holding the “golden idol,” which fans search for as part of a nationwide scavenger hunt.

Participants who successfully retrieve an idol will be rewarded with tickets to the ‘Survivor’ Season 50 finale.

CBS has held the broadcast rights to the Grammy Awards since 1973, but the 2026 ceremony marked the final year the event will air on the network.

The rights are set to move Disney, which secured a deal with The Recording Academy in 2024, according to Deadline.

In light of this, CBS took full advantage of its final Grammys hoorah to promote ‘Survivor’s’ 50th season by sending three of the franchise’s most iconic faces to this year's event.

The much-anticipated season is set to kick off on February 25 with a three-hour premiere, and will feature an all-returnees cast of 24 players.

The rare sighting of ‘Survivor’ legends on the Grammys red carpet has sparked intense speculation on social media.

Fans have been studying the short clip of Fields, Lusth, and Hunter, searching for any hints that the trio could be part of a Season 50 alliance.

One Fields supporter appeared less than thrilled by the idea of the five-time ‘Survivor’ veteran teaming up with Lusth and Hunter.

“Cirie, what are you doing hanging out with these two khias?” the fan commented on a post on X. “Omg… now this better not be no trio.”

Another user pushed back. “This is how she wins,” the fan replied. “Trust the process.”

Season 50 of ‘Survivor’ is titled “In the Hands of the Fans,” a nod to CBS’s effort to involve the audience in shaping the creative direction of the season.

In her pre-game interview with RHAP, Fields admitted that she still feels incomplete, saying that only winning the “Sole Survivor” title would satiate that lingering thirst for success.

Fields placed fourth and third during her first two appearances on ‘Survivor,’ and she has hinted in the past that those near-misses continue to haunt her.

Fans who watched her coast to victory in the first Season of “The Traitors” in 2023 saw just how determined she was to avoid a repeat of history.

Despite her success on the Peacock hit series, Fields has equated ‘Survivor’ to her first love.

“[‘Survivor’] is my first love and I want to complete what I started with it,” she said. “I just won't feel 100% worthy until I get this W.”

Speaking to RHAP, the reality TV fan favorite explained that she plans to be more cordial with everyone, including those who have gone against her in the game.

“I've learned that the game is so fast, it's so fluid, that you have to be able to work with your enemies,” Fields said. “You have to be able to take the knife out that they stabbed you with and give it back to them as a peace offering and say, ‘Hey, let's put that behind us, and we can move forward in this game.’”
