Bad Bunny took a bold stance against ICE at the 2026 Grammys, and MAGA supporters did not take it well.

The singer, who is set to headline the upcoming 2026 Super Bowl Halftime show, has received heavy criticism from fans who argue that he might make the event a “political” show.

Even President Donald Trump openly opposed Bad Bunny as the headliner for this year’s Super Bowl, calling it an “absolutely ridiculous” choice to allow the Puerto Rican singer to hit the stage.

The 2026 Grammy Awards ceremony was a star-studded event that saw some of the world’s biggest A-listers gather to celebrate art.

Among those present was Bad Bunny, who received the award for Album of the Year, making history as the first Latin artist to win the major category.

During his acceptance speech, the 31-year-old singer made it clear that he opposed the upheaval caused by ICE amidst the recent crackdown on immigrants in America.

“I’m gonna say, ICE out,” he said.  This was met with applause and a standing ovation from the entire room.

“We’re not savage, we’re not animals, we’re not aliens, we’re humans, and we are Americans,” he added. He further noted that hate gets “more powerful” with more hate and called for people to fight with “love.”

Donald Trump Fans Angered At Bad Bunny's Speech

The singer’s heartfelt speech may have attracted a standing ovation from those present at the Grammys, but MAGA fans online felt differently.

One user on X boldly called for the Super Bowl to be boycotted, writing, “Bad Bunny will pull this sh-t at the Super Bowl too. It’s time to put your money where your mouth is: BOYCOTT THE SUPERBOWL.”

Another fan added, "Super Bowl, unfortunately is going to suck cause it will be extremely political & Bad Bunny will give the middle finger to the country as he salutes trans.”

A third comment read, “Seriously...If you attend or watch a Super Bowl with the creepy "Bad Bunny" performing, you are part of the problem. Be Part Of The Cure #boycottsuperbowl.”

Yet another fan suggested that the singer’s Grammy win was manipulated to justify the decision to make him a Super Bowl headliner.

“The Grammy Awards are rigged. They made Bad Bunny win a Grammy award because they have to justify why they chose him to perform at the Super Bowl halftime show over real talented musicians,” the user argued.
