During Wednesday’s episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” host Kimmel took a playful jab at  Belichick while also commenting on his Hall of Fame snub.

Kimmel called the six-time Super Bowl-winning coach “a bit of a cheater” before poking fun at the 48-year age difference between Belichick and his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson.

“Bill Belichick is a bit of a jerk and a bit of a cheater, but he absolutely should have been voted into the Hall of Fame,” Kimmel quipped. “The guy has been winning Super Bowls longer than his girlfriend has been alive.”

Kimmel also weighed in on former President Donald Trump’s tweets criticizing Belichick’s exclusion, calling for the vote to be “overturned,” and took aim at the NFL’s new kickoff rule, labeling it “sissy.”

Belichick, 73, was first publicly seen with 24-year-old Hudson, a former Bridgewater State University cheerleader, in Nantucket in June 2024.

Friends say Hudson has been supportive and helps Belichick manage his opportunities beyond UNC football.

Over 24 seasons as the Patriots’ head coach, Belichick led the team to six Super Bowl titles, and he also won two as an assistant with the Giants. With 333 career victories, he ranks second in NFL history, behind only Don Shula.

Following the snub, friends have reportedly jokingly suggested that Belichick and Hudson plan a lavish wedding on August 8, the same day the Hall of Fame enshrinement ceremony is scheduled, to steal attention from the class of 2026.

They added: “He wouldn't want to disrespect those who are actually getting inducted.”

Meanwhile, according to the Daily Mail, Hudson has been supportive but frustrated over the snub.

Adding to the conversation, three-time NFL MVP Tom Brady, who won his seventh Super Bowl with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2021 before retiring two years later, expressed disbelief over Belichick’s snub.

"If he's not a first-ballot Hall of Famer, there's really no coach that should ever be a first-ballot Hall of Famer, which is completely ridiculous because people deserve it," Brady told Seattle Sports 710 AM.

"He's incredible. There's no coach I'd rather play for. If I'm picking one coach to go out there to win a Super Bowl - give me one season - I'm taking Bill Belichick. So that's enough said."

However, Brady added that he isn’t concerned Belichick will be overlooked forever.

He said, "We'll all be there to celebrate him when it does happen, and he's gonna have a huge turnout from so many players, coaches that appreciated everything he did, the commitment he made to winning, and the impact that he had on all our lives."
