The 45-year-old shared a post on her X account notifying her followers and fans about a crucial move she just made in honor of those who lost their lives during recent ICE raids.

Kim's post outrightly condemned the shootings of protesters and immigrants during arrests in Minneapolis, Chicago, and Los Angeles, which have fueled nationwide protests and a "national shutdown" against ICE actions.

The star advocated for a better treatment of immigrants as she wrote: "In response to the recent tragic deaths of Alex Pretti, Renee Good, Silverio Villegas González, and Keith Porter Jr., and other victims. I stand in solidarity with calls for accountability and compassionate immigration enforcement."

The mother of four stressed that she stands with the families and children nationwide who are facing separation, fear, trauma, and loss amid the actions of immigration agents across the United States.

She then revealed that she made a significant donation to the National Immigration Law Center, which supports "low-income immigrants' rights."

Public reactions to Kim's post have split sharply, with some praising her for lending her voice to the growing calls for accountability and compassion, while others slammed her for her selective focus on cases.

"Please also speak to the president, given that you have a direct line to him," this X subscriber wrote as another commenter under her post called Kim a performative hypocrite.

Another critique declared, "You say this, but you continue to befriend people like Ivanka Trump and Jeff Bezos. How do you square that in your mind? The people you are hanging out with and partying with are the people who are letting this happen."

A fourth commenter quoted her tweet, stating that she is only choosing to speak up now because she is getting dragged on the internet for staying quiet and allegedly voting for Trump.

"People saying she's switching when all she called for was compassion and made a donation," this X user added, presumably to douse the tension coating Kim's post since she pressed the send button.

"I tweeted the other day how quiet TS and TK have been on ICE, but now seeing KK—a person who we know has had a relationship with the Trumps for many years—make a statement about it makes their silence feel even louder," this internet user claimed.

The witness, identified as Kayla Schultz, broke her silence to CNN's Anderson Cooper on watching and recording the shooting happen through her windshield. Schultz noted during the interview that documenting these events as they happen remains the only option, as they have been devastating.

She recalled receiving a notification about the protest on Saturday morning while she was out and about, so she headed there with her whistle and her phone to join the protest. Cooper stressed to Schultz that her video was vital as it provided a never-before-seen angle to the story of Pretti.

She continued that before the video started, she already engaged in a heated conversation with an ICE agent who came to her window to threaten her and call her names.

Schutlz explained that Pretti was not intimidated by the threats of these agents, and he actually stood up for two women who were being brutalized by the agents.

She revealed that Pretti was suddenly ambushed by a host of agents who tried to pin him down, and the next thing she heard was so many gunshots, which her recorded video clearly captured.

The witness confessed that her brain struggled to grasp what had just happened, and she looked away from her phone for a while to snap back to reality and realize that they were actually holding a real gun.

Kim's breakout case was in 2017 when she took it upon herself to advocate for a 64-year-old grandmother and ask President Donald Trump to grant her clemency, which eventually happened. As shared by PEOPLE, a statement was released to that effect one week after she visited the White House and met with Trump.

In 2019, she announced that she was very actively involved in getting another low-level drug offender out of prison for good after spending more than 20 years locked up.

The actress, alongside her ex, also used their connections to the White House to mount pressure on Trump to negotiate for A$AP Rocky's release when he was arrested back in Sweden.

Kim also teamed up with Oxygen a few years ago to executive-produce a documentary on the United States' criminal reform system.

It also focused on her advocacy efforts as she visits prisons and consults with lawyers to develop strategies to free Dawn Jackson, Alexis Martin, Momolu Stewart, and David Sheppard - all of whom she and legal experts believe have been unfairly sentenced.

Before the end of 2021, Kim had contributed to three women receiving clemency from the Trump administration and rounded up the year with the heartwarming news of passing her baby bar exams.

Years have passed since she aced her baby bar exams, and on November 8, 2025, the mother-of-four broke the news that her attempt to move forward with another bar exam did not yield fruit.

The SKIMS founder had reportedly failed the bar exams three times in the past before she struck gold in 2021. Kim shared the news on her Instagram Story, assuring fans that her journey of six years will not go to ashes just because of this one failure.

The star promised that she is committed to studying and determined to pass without shortcuts or giving up. Kim has immersed herself in studying law through an apprenticeship program in California with hopes of hitting the ground running on prison reforms once she is done.

"I want to finish law school, and then my ultimate goal is to open up a firm that hires formerly incarcerated people," the star had expressed in 2022.

On screen, she played the role of an attorney on Ryan Murphy's legal show "All's Fair" alongside an A-list cast of Glenn Close, Naomi Watts, Teyana Taylor, Sarah Paulson, and Niecy Nash.

Kim Kardashian has picked a stand in all the rubble, how courageous!
