Zayn Malik has been labeled as “jealous” over his former bandmate Harry Styles' success.
Malik recently commented on high concert ticket prices, and many believed it was a subtle jab at his former “One Direction” pal, Harry Styles.
Now, inside sources are shedding some insight into the alleged feud, claiming that the “Pillowtalk” artist is simply envious of Styles.
Zayn Malik Reportedly Had To Lower Ticket Prices For His Las Vegas Residency

Tickets to Zayn Malik’s Las Vegas residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM were reportedly sold for as cheap as $20 after the 33-year-old singer saw low sales for the event.
According to a recording industry official, Malik saw Styles’ high ticket prices getting sold out and felt a tinge of envy.
“[He] is jealous. Originally, he tried to charge expensive prices for his tickets and couldn’t, so he had to lower them, and as of last night [they were] as cheap as $20 to get in,” the insider said to Page Six.
The insider further revealed that Malik’s low concert ticket sales were a result of a lack of demand for the artist.
“It’s unfair for him to take a cheap shot at Harry when he’s doing the same as every other artist. Zayn is just jealous that he can’t get people to pay for him,” the insider added.
Malik Seemingly Took Jabs At Harry Styles’ Concert Price Drama

This new revelation came shortly after Malik addressed the audience at his Las Vegas Residency, saying, “I just want to say a big, big thank you to each and every single one of you for being here with me tonight. You could have been anywhere, but you decided to spend your night with me.”
The singer then mockingly added, “Hopefully, the ticket prices weren’t too high. Just saying.”
This seemed to be a direct jab at Styles, who recently came under the spotlight for selling expensive tickets to his London shows, which ranged from £44 ($60.80) to £466.24 ($642.76).
According to Page Six, fans took to social media to slam Styles for the ticket prices, with one calling them “disgusting.”
One comment read, “I’m sorry, Harry, but this is asinine. I love you, but I cannot justify spending an entire paycheck on 2 concert tickets.”
Harry Styles Is Gearing Up To Go On Tour

Despite the outrage, Styles seemed to continue to enjoy success in his career, as he also intends to go on tour later this year.
The Blast confirmed that the 31-year-old artist’s “Together, Together” Tour is set to kick off in May 2026 in Amsterdam.
The tour will feature 50 shows and will span locations such as London, Brazil, New York, and Mexico City. It is set to end in December, with a final show in Sydney.
Some guest singers lined up for the tour include Robyn, Shania Twain, Fcukers, Jorja Smith, Skye Newman, and others.
When Zayn Malik Cancelled His Show In Mexico City

Styles’ tour comes on the heels of Malik’s “Stairway to The Sky” Tour, which kicked off in November 2024 and concluded in March 2025.
Although fans had excitedly looked forward to seeing Malik perform in March in Mexico City, the former “One Direction” star was forced to cancel his performance due to a severe case of food poisoning.
According to The Blast, he released a statement, saying he was “heartbroken” to have canceled the concert, and although he tried to “push through,” nothing was working.
Liam Payne’s Death Reportedly Brought The Former Bandmates Closer

Malik’s tour kicked off shortly after Liam Payne, a former “One Direction” member, passed away.
Despite the alleged tension between Malik and Styles, the former “One Direction” bandmates briefly reunited to mourn Payne, who passed away in October 2024.
Payne’s death reportedly served as a wake-up call for the former music group and reminded them of the importance of staying in touch.
“Liam's death was a wake-up call for all of them. Prior, they kept in touch sporadically but didn't have close friendships at all,” an insider said, per The Blast.
The insider also revealed that Payne’s unfortunate death brought the former bandmates “closer than they have in years.” They are also reportedly in talks to hold a reunion show in honor of their late pal.
