While the news of Aaron’s hospitalization came to light on Sunday, the actor’s manager revealed that he had been hospitalized in Atlanta, Georgia, for three days prior.

Speaking to TMZ, she revealed that Aaron was rushed to the hospital after climbing the stairs to his apartment when he suddenly lost the ability to control his legs and fell down the stairs.

While the GoFundMe described him as being on life support, his manager clarified that he was “stable” and able to communicate with his family and professional team.

Crucially, the term “stable” does not necessarily mean a patient is improving; it only means they are not worsening.

At that point, doctors were still running tests and had not determined the cause of the fall.

This latest medical emergency is not the first scare for Quinton Aaron. In March 2025, he alarmed fans after being rushed to the hospital for coughing up blood while also suffering from a fever.

Though his diagnosis was never fully revealed, reports noted that doctors believed Type A flu and pneumonia were possible causes.

Aaron later said he was doing better after receiving antibiotics and IV fluids and was no longer coughing up blood.

The “Left Behind” actor has faced other health challenges as well, including a serious upper respiratory infection in 2019.

In 2020 alone, he was hospitalized three times, once for COVID-19 and twice due to heart failure.

The following year, Aaron was diagnosed with diabetes, a moment that ultimately pushed him to take his long-term health more seriously.

In October 2025, Aaron shared that he felt “overwhelmed and blessed” after losing an astonishing 200 pounds.

He had begun using Ozempic in 2024 but was forced to stop after suffering an allergic reaction.

He then turned to intermittent fasting, cutting back on sugar and carbohydrates, and joked that he was “getting a lot of cardio in the bedroom” with his wife, Margarita.

Thankfully, Aaron’s hard work paid off. Standing at 6 ft 8 in, he revealed he lost 200 pounds, dropping down to 375, after weighing 575 pounds in 2012.

Aaron admitted that seeing that number made him realize he was eating himself “into an early grave.”

At the time, he said he had 55 pounds to lose to reach his goal of 320 pounds, which was the same weight he was at when he was 14, playing football in high school.
