Teddi Mellencamp is leaving no stone unturned when it comes to a full recovery from her cancer!
The podcaster is really committed to bouncing back healthwise after battling cancer for the better part of last year and now has to deal with the remnants of such a trying period in her life.
Teddi Mellencamp discovered she had stage II melanoma following a routine checkup in 2022, after which it metastasized to her brain and lungs in a stage IV diagnosis in February 2025.
Teddi Mellencamp Confessed She Is Starting To Feel The Hit From Her Cancer Journey

All hands were literally on deck in the media personality's corner last year on how to get better from her cancer, from immunotherapy to surgery. The podcaster is now affirming that she had not really taken time to process everything that happened until now.
In a new episode of her Two T's in a Pod podcast, Teddi stated, "From my divorce to all of a sudden being in emergency surgery, to not being able to see my kids when I was recovering. I think all of those things are starting to finally hit me now."
She recalled that during therapy, she discovered it became hard for her to carry out certain chores, like touching or moving things. Teddi added that she became slower than before, when all she really wanted to do was go back to her life way before her disease got complicated.
The TV personality is also unlocking new fears, including a lingering thought at the back of her mind that her cancer might resurface. Overall, Teddi wants to return to her default and feel self-sufficient as she was in the past.

The Blast previously shared that John was front, right, and center through his daughter's trying time, and he even admitted to it on his latest appearance on Joe Rogan's show that his daughter was "suffering."
Teddi gave a deeper context to her father's choice of words, noting that he insisted she was suffering because of the side effects of immunotherapy and all other treatments she is going through to get back to 100 percent.
"There's still no trace of cancer. But I'm still considered stage IV, and I'm still on immunotherapy, so essentially nothing's changed other than I still don't feel great," Teddi stated on her podcast.
However, she feels immensely grateful to her superstar dad for throwing all his weight behind her while she fought for her life during and after her surgery. The former reality star revealed that her father called her every single day when he was not around physically to check in with her.
John was not the only man in her life who stood by her; her estranged husband was also present to help the former reality star bounce back from the pain.
Teddi Mellencamp Credits Therapy For Lifting The Dark Clouds

The 44-year-old had earlier revealed on her podcast that therapy helped her confront the PTSD from everything that happened. Teddi noted that through the techniques, things started to feel much better, and her mental state found clarity.
She confessed that battling cancer with her whole family watching was a different ball game, especially because she had kids who needed her alive. Teddi recalled a heartbreaking thought she had about the possibility of not making it out alive.
"My kids all know that I'm fighting the hardest I possibly can, but I haven't said 'moms always come back' to them because I don't want to lie to them. And I don't know," the Bravo alum recalled.
Through finding healing and moving on from the mental and psychological effects of cancer, Teddi revealed that sarcasm provided an exit for the tension. She added that she would rather joke about her troubles and have the best outcome at the end of the day than live in denial and have her hopes crushed.

Teddi chose the event as the right platform to show off her healthy-looking self after a victorious battle with cancer. The Blast shared that the star was accompanied by her pal and podcast co-host, Tamra Judge, who matched her vibe in tongue-wagging outfits and positive energy.
Teddi arrived at the event dressed in a golden brown suit and short skirt combo while flaunting her short hair, which served as a reminder of how much she went through with cancer treatments.
The fans were there to receive Teddi with screams and chants of love as the light flashed on their respective phones to record the triumphant moment.

Teddi Mellencamp And Her Ex-Husband's New Partner Shared An Interesting Connection

The 44-year-old and her ex-husband showed the world how separated partners can still support each other in times of need during the peak of her cancer battle, and his girlfriend was absolutely in on the plan.
In a shocking twist, Edwin Arroyave explained that his girlfriend, Hayet Amalou, was actually the one who advised Teddi on the next step to take after she came clean about the incessant headache she had battled in secret for months.
Edwin noted that despite things not being official between them at the time, she still offered tremendous help on how to go about brain scans and which doctors to consult, rather than take pills and go back home.
"I was like, 'Is it okay if the girl I'm dating can kind of walk us through what is going on?" Because in these moments, every second counts. And luckily, that's what happened," Edwin recalled.
The TV star's husband shared that he met Hayet a month before Teddi's health nightmare began, and over the months, she had become an integral part of his and the kids' lives. The former Bravo personality even had her surgery in the same hospital where Hayet worked last February.
Wishing Teddi Mellencamp a total recovery as the year advances!
