Meredith Marks Addresses Explosive ‘RHOSLC’ Reunion, Where She Stands With The Cast And More

Meredith Marks had one of her toughest seasons yet on the recently concluded sixth outing of the “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City,” but despite being in the middle of constant drama, she stood her ground and held her snowflake even tighter.
In a new interview, Marks addressed some of the season’s biggest controversies, where she stands with the cast, former cast member Jen Shah, and more.
Meredith Marks Sets The Record Straight On The Infamous Plane Incident That Monopolized The Season

Speaking exclusively with Variety at the last Sundance Film Festival in Salt Lake City, Marks shared her perspective on the alleged incident on the plane that led to a confrontation with cast member Britain Bateman.
“I vented to Lisa,” Marks began. “It was the wrong place and the wrong time. Everything I said, I had said to Britani’s face, so I don’t regret saying it. It wasn’t like I was gossiping behind somebody’s back.
“So, I’m not going be sorry for that. I am not going to apologize for physical actions, because they didn’t happen. There is no video for one reason: Those things did not happen,” she continued.
Despite claims from other cast members, Marks stands firm that she did offer Bateman an apology for the outburst, which was conspicuously not captured by Bravo cameras.
“I did apologize that Britani’s feelings were hurt by that, because I don’t want to hurt somebody’s feelings. That’s not my intention,” she said.
Marks Shared That Bateman’s Attack On Her Marriage Crossed The Line

During the middle of the season, Bateman brought up a TikTok video that claimed that Marks’ husband, Seth, was cheating on her, while the entire cast was on a yacht in Greece.
When asked why Bateman’s actions triggered her so much, the reality star explained that it was the intent behind it.
“What bothered me was we don’t usually follow little TikTok storylines. So why suddenly are we following that? Why was that OK? That’s why I was so bugged,” she admitted.
Marks further alleged that Bateman’s hyperfocus on her marriage was a tactic of projection, due to Bateman’s drama-filled on/off relationship with Jared Osmond.
”Britani wants to project her miserable relationship onto me,” she told the outlet. “I’m sick of it. My marriage has come under fire. Yes, we went through a horrible time. I talked about it, but when I am saying things are good now, you don’t want to believe me. You want to say I’m this crazy liar.”
She Gave A Rundown Of Where She Stands With Her Cast Mates Following The Reunion

‘RHOSLC’ fans already know that Marks and bestie Lisa Barlow are good these days, despite a season two hot mic moment that nearly derailed their friendship for good.
As for where she stands with the rest of the cast, Heather Gay, Bronwyn Newport, Angie Katsanevas, Mary Cosby, and Whitney Rose, things are not great.
On Heather: “I guess we weren’t ever friends. That’s what that tells me. I thought we were, so it’s just sad to me. You showed me who you are.”
On Bronwyn: “It's problematic for me. Bronwyn knew she was lying about that dinner Seth had in New York City. She needs to own up to it. Apologize. Admit she is a liar. You clearly have a problem with the truth. Come clean.”
On Mary: “Mary and I seem to be in a good place. I’m just a little confused by her because she always tells me she loves me, and then I got a little bit blindsided by some of the comments she made.”
Regarding Katsanevas and Rose, things between Marks and Katsanevas seem to be fine, or at least cordial. However, any long-time viewer of ‘RHOSLC’ knows that Rose and Marks have never been friends, and her behavior towards Marks all season (and during the reunion) indicates that it won’t change anytime soon.

After such an explosive reunion and her being one of two (Lisa Barlow was the other) cast members in the middle of a takedown during the season, many fans were questioning if Marks would be open to reducing her role on the show, given the ongoing toxicity.
She promptly told Variety that she “wouldn’t be willing” to take a “friend of” role, and that she’s “really optimistic that things will be more fair next season.”
Jen Shah’s Prison Release And Potential ‘RHOSLC’ Return Was Also Discussed

Despite Marks previously sharing that she had spoken to Jen Shah while she was imprisoned, she told the outlet that, currently, things are a bit unclear between them.
“I don’t know where Jen and I are at. We had a very tumultuous relationship. I do believe in second chances,” she said. However, she remains hopeful that Shah’s post-prison life will bring about a change and a possible friendship.
“Obviously, if she doesn’t turn things around, there’s nowhere to go, but I’m rooting for her to do well in her life. Whether that means I have a part of it or not, I have no idea,” Marks said.
