Bronwyn Newport joined "The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City" in 2024 for the show's fifth season. Fans also got to know her husband, Todd Bradley, as he made several appearances not only in her first season but also in the most recent sixth installment. Sadly, in December 2025, it was revealed that she and Bradley were separating after 9 years of marriage. Since then, she has been vocal about the split and recently revealed that Mary Cosby supported her the most.
Bronwyn Newport Says Mary Cosby Texts Her Often

Newport spoke to PEOPLE in January 2026 about her separation from Bradley and how she's handled the traumatic situation. When discussing who from "The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City" had supported her the most, she said it was Cosby. Newport said her Bravo costar "texted every few days."
According to Newport, "She made sure she called me on every holiday since Todd and I have been separated. Mary has shared things with me about things that she's gone through in her life or in different relationships she's been in, and tried to just kind of really encourage me to figure out what's best for me."
She didn't end there regarding her commentary about Cosby. She also said, "Mary loves Todd. Todd probably is closest with Mary. I don't know [that] I would say Todd is close to any of the women, but Todd probably likes Mary the most and always has. And Mary is an interesting person for me to have the ability to confide in. Mary has made that very easy. Since this news has been out, Mary has been really using kid gloves with me."
She Also Gave An Update About Her Living Situation

During the PEOPLE interview, Newport discussed her living arrangements with Bradley. Notably, she revealed that they continue to share their Utah home because of their five dogs. The "Real Housewives of Salt Lake City" star continued discussing her marriage, saying, "Todd hates the show. He thinks that I didn’t need to do it, or I didn’t need to prove to other people who I was or who I am."
Newport also claimed that filming the series "brought out a weird dynamic" in her marriage with Bradley. Still, she admitted that "the cameras didn’t create our problems." It's also worth noting that the couple faced backlash from fans of the show who didn't consider their dynamic to be healthy.
She Confirmed The Seperation In 2025

A representative for Newport confirmed to PEOPLE on December 12 that the RHOSLC star had separated from Bradley. They told the outlet, "This was a mutual decision made with care and respect for one another. They ask for privacy during this time." This news came after Newport had been open on the show about some of the issues they faced in their marriage.
This was especially the case during the most recent sixth season. Newport said in a confessional during one of the episodes, "The real truth is that my relationship is just as hard as everybody else's in its own ways and has had its very low lows that were very hard for me."
She continued, "This is a side of me that these ladies haven't yet seen, but I want them to understand that I bleed the same way that they all do. I cry about things, and that side of me is there if they're open to it."

Part three of the "Real Housewives of Salt Lake City" reunion for season six aired on January 27. A Clip from the episode shows what she said to host Andy Cohen about her marriage. She said, "So Todd and I are separated." Cohen asked who decided, and she responded, "It's my choice." When asked about the final straw, she said, "This year was so hard for me. I watched myself in some of those conversations saying things I don't think I meant."
Newport then cited her earlier instance from season six, when she told Bradley that they could "be open" about seeing other people. She stated that this was something she "was wanting to be up for if I needed to." Newport also revealed that Bradley doesn't want her to discuss the relationship with her friends or on the show.
According to her, "We weren't working forward anymore. We weren't a team anymore. I was just PR for him." It's also important to note that during the reunion, which was filmed in December, Newport said Bradley was living in New York while she was in Utah.

An insider reported to Bravo & Cocktails that the cast will remain largely the same. This means that Heather Gay, Lisa Barlow, Angie Katsanevas, Meredith Marks, Whitney Rose, Newport, and Cosby are set to return.
