Following news of Quinton's sudden hospitalization, there were contradicting reports about what happened to him. His wife, Margarita, cleared the air in a recent interview, revealing the actor has been placed on life support after collapsing in their home.

Margarita explained that the medical devices aren't doing all the work in keeping Quinton alive, as he is partially breathing on his own, a positive sign of his recovery. She later shared another health update with TMZ, noting her beau "opened his eyes today and gave a thumbs up."

As for what happened to Quinton, Margarita confirmed that he is suffering from a blood infection. However, doctors are still investigating the cause of the illness, matching the claims shared on a GoFundMe page created shortly after the entertainer's hospitalization.

The TV Personality's Experienced Concerning Symptoms Before Collapsing

Margarita revealed that Quinton started showing signs of health troubles days before collapsing in their home. She recalled he woke up one morning feeling sore but did not suspect it was anything more than a symptom of insufficient sleep.

Unfortunately, the red flags continued a few days later when Quinton began experiencing pain in his neck and back. Margarita noted he was battling the pain in these areas while climbing up the stairs when his legs suddenly gave out, and he collapsed.

Margarita, a registered nurse, noted that she immediately rushed to Quinton's side to help him up the stairs. After he lay down, she called 911, but her husband kept slipping in and out of consciousness on his way to the hospital. Given the severity of his condition, doctors recommended life support.

The Actor's Family Says He's Showing Signs Of Recovery

Margarita described Quinton as "a fighter," claiming he had significantly improved after four days of hospitalization. "We all have faith in God that he will walk out of here fully recovered," the doting wife added.

Her hopeful words follow The Blast's report about Quinton's hospitalization and the contradicting claims about his current situation. As stated, a GoFundMe page was set up shortly after his health issue was discovered, noting Quinton was on life support and suffering from a blood infection.

On the other hand, Quinton's manager shared a different narrative, declaring he was not in any danger but in a stable condition. The rep added that Quinton was communicating with his family and team while doctors were still investigating the cause of his condition.

Inside The Entertainer's Past Health Struggles

Nearly a year before Quinton suffered a severe blood infection, he was rushed to a Southern California medical facility in February 2025. He was hospitalized after coughing up blood and coming down with a fever.

After running several tests, doctors discovered that Quinton had Type A flu and pneumonia. He was also hospitalized in 2019 after suffering from a bad case of congestion that he initially dismissed as symptoms of a common cold.

According to Quinton, the congestion began in early May 2019 and worsened in June, forcing him to seek medical attention. Doctors soon discovered that he had a severe upper respiratory infection.

Months after coming down with Type A flu and pneumonia, Quinton shocked fans by debuting an incredible weight loss transformation. He lost 200lbs and credited his success to Margarita's love and support.

"Mentally, physically, and emotionally, she has been my confidant and shelter through my storms. I truly believe God was blessing me with one of his Angels when he sent her to me," Quinton said, per Primetimer.

The lovebirds reportedly met through TikTok and married in December 2024. Quinton has been vocal about Margarita being his biggest supporter, once thanking her for helping him through one of the most challenging moments of his life, the death of his mother.
