Inside The Allegations Against Barnett

The Blast previously reported that Barnett was formally charged with aggravated sexual assault, aggravated assault, and domestic violence in the presence of a child, all stemming from an alleged incident that took place last November. The alleged victim told authorities that the confrontation began after she asked Barnett to get a job to help support their child.

According to the woman, Barnett allegedly withheld physical affection for roughly a month before the situation escalated. She claims that during a confrontation, Barnett became physically violent, slapping and choking her before allegedly sexually assaulting her.
