Victoria Beckham And The Spice Girls Reunite Amid Beckham Family Drama

Victoria Beckham is not letting the highly-publicized drama with her family stop her from reuniting with old friends; in this case, it’s her Spice Girls group members (minus Mel B) who gave her a reason to celebrate.

To commemorate a milestone birthday, Beckham temporarily left the drama surrounding her son, Brooklyn Beckham, behind and showed up ready to party.

As fans have continued to dissect the bombshell allegations hurled by Brooklyn Beckham towards his parents, specifically mom Victoria, the singer-designer also known as Posh Spice decided to reunite with her group members.

Per PEOPLE, to celebrate the 50th birthday of Emma Bunton (Baby Spice), group members Geri Halliwell-Horner (Ginger Spice), Melanie Chisholm (Mel C), and Victoria were all on hand on Saturday, January 24, for Bunton’s birthday bash in the English countryside. Melanie Brown, known as Scary Spice, was not present at the celebration, but sent Bunton a special birthday message in her absence.

However, it wasn’t until the following day, Sunday, January 25, that fans were thrilled to see the ladies together when Beckham posted a photo on Instagram of them all together at the event.

"Happy birthday to the most beautiful soul @emmaleebunton I love you girls so much @gerihalliwellhorner @melaniecmusic xxxxxxx," Beckham lovingly captioned the post.

She wasn’t the only Beckham to comment on the heartwarming photo, as David Beckham shared his own thoughts in the comment section.

"This made me happy. I can only imagine how the Spice Girls fans feel @spicegirls @victoriabeckham special night celebrating Emma @emmaleebunton x," he wrote.

Following the shocking claims by Brooklyn regarding his parents, inside sources shared that Beckham feels the sting of betrayal from her oldest child, who exposed the current status of their relationship.

According to The Mirror, an inside source shared with the outlet that Beckham “feels betrayed because she's done everything she can to make them both feel welcome and Nicola like another daughter, but it's been thrown back in her face.” She also believes her son and daughter-in-law are “being unreasonable.”

"Victoria is on the floor, shocked to pieces that her son would do this," an inside source added. Many are waiting to see what David and Victoria’s next public move will be regarding their son, but the source said that they will continue to conduct business as usual and not address Brooklyn’s claims publicly.

One of the major details in Brooklyn’s lengthy posts involved the wedding dance between mother and son that he described as “inappropriate” and “humiliating.”

While appearing on ITV’s “This Morning,” DJ Fat Tony told his recollection of what happened, as he emceed the wedding reception when the incident occurred.

“There was no sl-t dropping, there was no black PVC catsuits, there was no Spice Girl action. The word inappropriate, why I said it was inappropriate as well ... it was the timing," he said during the program.

"Basically, Marc Anthony was performing on stage, he then called Brooklyn onto the stage,” he continued. “Brooklyn went onto the stage and everyone was expecting it to be Nicola to go up and do the first dance. Marc Anthony asked ‘the most beautiful woman in the room’ to come to the stage and he says, ‘Victoria, come to the stage.’”

The DJ clarified that what may be deemed inappropriate to some is not necessarily the way the Beckhams interact with each other.

He noted that the famous family is a "very dancey, close-knit family" and "love to dance."

A 2022 interview with Vogue featuring Nicola Peltz-Beckham and her stylist confirmed that Nicola had a custom Valentino Haute Couture wedding gown for her nuptials that took a year to create.

This directly contradicts claims by Brooklyn that his mother refused to design his wife’s wedding dress and left her scrambling to find a replacement at the last minute.

There were also multiple fittings of the Valentino dress in the U.S. and two trips to Rome as the details of the gown were finalized. "Seeing all the runway dresses in real life was so magic," Nicola told the outlet at the time.

Just before her Palm Beach wedding, Nicola tried on a mock-up of the designer gown before any final design changes were made.

To celebrate son Romeo Beckham’s return to the runway, the Beckham family showed him love on social media underneath photos and videos of him walking the runway.

Romeo walked in the Willy Chavarria Menswear Fall/Winter 2026-2027 fashion show during Paris Fashion Week, and received support on social media from mom Victoria Beckham, brother Cruz Beckham, and sister Harper Beckham, per PEOPLE.
