Jason Biggs is receiving heat online after revealing that he showed his 11-year-old son, Sid, his infamous "American Pie" scene.
The actor shared that he did so because he wanted to "control the narrative" and "get ahead" as his son started hearing of it and wanted to know what it was about.
It comes amid news that Jason Biggs and his former costars may not be returning for the fifth installment of the cult classic, as reports claim negotiations fell through.
Jason Biggs Talked To His Son About His Infamous Pie Scene In The Film 'American Pie'

Biggs recently appeared on SiriusXM's "The Julia Cunningham Show" and revealed that he had to talk to his son about his infamous "American Pie" scene.
The 47-year-old actor explained that he did so because he wanted to "control the narrative," as his son was already hearing whispers from outside sources.
"They kept hearing about 'American Pie' and pie and [asking], 'Daddy, what do you do with the pie?' and I had to have a conversation with my oldest," Biggs claimed, per The Blast. "I actually showed him the scene. Jenny and I talked about this, and we were like, 'We want to get ahead of this.'"
He continued, "'I had to have a conversation with my oldest. I actually showed him the scene. Jenny and I talked about this, and we were like, 'We want to get ahead of this.'"
"It's my version of a sex talk, right? It's like, how much do you want them to hear from friends and other people at school, and how much do you want to control the narrative, and it was literally happening with American Pie," the noted.
Fans Slam The Actor For Showing The 11-Year-Old The Raunchy Scene

In the scene in question, Biggs's character was caught by his father (played by Eugene Levy) in an intimate moment with a pie.
Having noted that he spoke about it with his son, many social media users slammed him for doing so.
"Not appropriate for an 11-year-old to see," a person wrote, per the Daily Mail, while another added, "Seems a tad young but not shocking for a Hollywood type."
Someone else found it "gross" that the "Wedding Daze" actor thought it was a good way to tell his son about it, while another shared he did it because he "needs attention."
Others wrote harsh comments about Biggs, with one saying he and his wife were so "f-ckinf annoying" many years back.
Jason Biggs Said The Conversation Was 'Embarrassing' For His Son

The catalyst for the father-son moment was due to an experience he witnessed firsthand when he was on a trip to New York City with his children.
He explained that a random guy "walked past us all and literally screamed out back to me, 'Hey, it's the pie f-cker,' and I looked immediately at the boys." He was, however, excited that his kids didn't hear him.
Alongside Sid, Biggs is also father to 8-year-old son Lazio, whom he shares with wife Jenny Mollen. Speaking about the conversation he had with his eldest son, he noted that it was pretty awkward, but a father's gotta do what a father has got to do.
"He was embarrassed to say it, very embarrassed, but I was like, 'Okay. Let me show you. Let me show you what happened,' and so I showed him the scene, and he laughed and laughed," the "Orange Is The New Black" actor said.
"He was a little uncomfortable for sure," Biggs admitted. "He did say I was a good actor," he added.
The Actor Said He Was Glad He Had 'Boys Versus Girls' Because Of His Infamous 'American Pie' Scene

Back in 2017, when Sid was just about two years old, Biggs spoke about how his talk with his children about the infamous scene in "American Pie" would look like.
"I picture a scenario where it's like – I don't know what grade, hopefully a little bit older – but one of his friends can come in and be like, 'Hey, I saw your dad's p-nis on TV last night!'" Biggs joked. "That's a very real possibility for our life."
"[But] I'm glad that I have boys versus girls. I don't know how it's going to go down, but I know that no matter how it goes down, it's going to be easier having sons than it would have been having girls," he added, per People Magazine.
Jason Biggs Says He Would Love To Do A Fifth Installment Of 'American Pie'

A way from his family life, Biggs has also expressed interest in working on "American Pie 5," amid reports that the production of the film might be facing money issues.
"It's tricky," he said during a chat with People. "I've heard various reasons for the holdup, and the most realistic of which is just that there are a lot of people that you have to get on board."
"Behind the scenes, as well. Especially behind the scenes," Biggs added. "But look, it'd be fun. I would love to do it. I know a lot of us would love to."
