Justin Baldoni's Parents Highlight 'Injustice' In Emotional Birthday Tributes

Justin Baldoni's parents are going down memory lane but are all about justice for their son.

The actor's parents, Sharon and Sam Baldoni, relived all the sweet memories of his childhood and reiterated their unwavering support for him on the joyous occasion of his 42nd birthday.

Justin Baldoni is currently stuck in a nasty legal battle with his "It Ends With Us" co-star, Blake Lively, and it currently seems to be an unending rollercoaster for the duo, with scathing revelations flying around.

Sam took to his Instagram to let the world know just how much he adores his son. The actor's dad took a walk down memory lane by uploading an old picture of himself and Justin's mom posing with him as a baby.

"Happy Birthday, Justin Louis Baldoni! Being a new dad, I had no idea what to expect when Justin was born. His birth (our first) was not easy. Sharon spent 34+hours in labor, and we ended up with a cesarean," Sam started. 

He shared that he got to hold him first and experienced a very new feeling as he placed his little face against his mom's face. Sam continued that Justin filled their home with joy years ago and has not stopped, even 42 years down the line, emphasizing that his presence lights up every room. 

"I am so proud of my son for the man he has become and how he never stops learning about life, about love, about family and friendship, and about how to show up for the people he cares about most," he continued.

Sam stressed his envy for Justin's unwavering dedication to his family and his love and shared his admiration for Justin's wife, Emily.

"In a year full of turmoil and injustice, you have remained steadfast in your faith, knowing that truth and justice will prevail! Happy Birthday, Son, I love you with all my heart and soul," the actor's dad concluded.

Justin's mother did not hold back on raving about their son and how much he meant to them in her special tribute. Sharon shared a picture of her printed letter to her lovely son, where she opened with a line affirming that she always knew she would name her son "Justin" after a quote from the Bahai writings.

Sharon stressed that the director had memorized the quote throughout his life, and it became an ironic sight for her to see "Justice for Justin" from everyone in support of her son.

The actor's mother thanked everyone for holding her son's hands as he is currently navigating one of the most challenging periods of his life. Sharon attached the writing from the Baha'i right under her tribute, which emphasized the concept of justice as a gift. One of the lines read:

"OH SON OF SPIRIT. The best beloved of all things in My sight is Justice."

When Lively's allegation dropped in 2024, Baldoni was summoned to meet with the actress and other producers for a meeting about the allegations. As shared by The Blast, Baldoni had informed his group chat about, asking for prayers and expressing how nervous he was.

In the unsealed document revealing the conversation, Justin told his pal and "The Office" alum, Rainn Wilson, that the meeting was a very difficult one for him, noting that he was basically ambushed by everyone on the other team.

"I had no words, I couldn't formulate sentences. My brain was trying to defend itself when they were needing me to apologize for all of the ways I have f-cked up and made her feel unsafe," Baldoni shared.

He noted that Lively's husband, Ryan Reynolds, also referred to him like a five-year-old and scolded him during the conversation. Justin added that they also took his words entirely out of context and used controversial terms like "creepy" and "abuse" to describe his behavior.

Despite being asked to apologize and basically told what to say, the actor recalled feeling very tongue-tied, adding: "I was in shock and basically went into feeling like I was a seven-year-old again when I got home last night. I was emotionally paralyzed."

The 38-year-old made a crucial move as the year began by making an essential addition to her team of attorneys who would represent her as she and Justin head on to trial.

The Blast noted that she enlisted the services of attorney Sigrid McCawley, a managing partner at Boies Schiller Flexner, to head public and media communications.

McCawley also has a rich resume of previous representation, especially the Jeffrey Epstein case, where she represented survivors of the late felon. She had previously represented Leslie Sloane, Lively's publicist, when Justin filed a countersuit against her.

With her expertise, the case was dismissed in June 2025, and she has kind words to say about her addition to Lively's team alongside Mike Gottlieb and Esra Hudson.

"It is a privilege to get to work with Blake Lively's world-class legal team on a case that at its core is about a woman who was subjected to a hostile work environment and is being attacked for standing up to protect herself and other female co-workers," McCawley stressed.

As for Justin, he retained the services of defense attorney Alexandra Shapiro last fall, who represented disgraced producer Sean' Diddy' Combs.

The duo will head to trial by May, where she is expected to be present and testify herself, and there will be lots of conversations unsealed. Speaking of unsealed texts, Justin’s conversation with his former agent was revealed, where he expressed frustration at working with the actress.

He noted that her refusal to use a body double for some sexual scenes tilted towards her trying to get him in trouble. Justin revealed that Lively had suggested they meet at her house to discuss filming the romantic scenes, but insisted she wanted a body double to be used in his place.

In the conversation, Justin told his former agent that Lively pushing to shoot intimate scenes with their clothes on was frustrating, and he gave her everything she wanted for the sake of peace.

He noted that the process of working with an actress who constantly rewrites the script and the director had been very draining and time-consuming for him.
