City of Brownsboro Chief of Police Scott Myntti told TMZ that Rudy Youngblood was initially pulled over for speeding, and once officers ran his license, it allegedly showed he was wanted. From there, he was cuffed and booked without incident. As of Friday morning, he remains in custody.

TMZ reports this latest arrest is connected to an earlier incident in October, when officers stopped Youngblood at a boat ramp in Bell County, Texas. At the time, police allegedly discovered there was a warrant out for his arrest tied to an accusation that he assaulted a member of his household.

Long before this Texas arrest made waves, Youngblood was already dealing with serious legal drama overseas. Less than a year ago, he reportedly spent time in custody in Athens, Greece, after an early-morning confrontation with police that quickly spiraled.

According to local reports, Youngblood was stopped in the early hours of December 27, 2024, and authorities alleged he was intoxicated and threatening officers with a knife. Youngblood, however, claimed the officers weren’t wearing identifying insignia and didn’t explain his rights.

Youngblood was later charged with resisting arrest, making threats, and carrying a weapon after police said he had a pocketknife. He ultimately received a 10-month suspended prison sentence, but the situation didn’t end there. Reports said he remained held due to an expired visa, triggering a deportation order that he later appealed before leaving Greece voluntarily.
