Cruz Beckham Joins In To Push Mom’s Music Comeback In Subtle Jab To Sibling Brooklyn

Cruz Beckham continues to address the ongoing feud, seemingly siding with his mother, Victoria Beckham. 

Meanwhile, his brother, Brooklyn Beckham, previously shared a series of posts on Instagram, claiming that his parents are not who they claim to be.

He accused them of intentionally sabotaging his marriage and attempting to control the public’s narrative with lies. 

Shortly after one of his mother’s songs went viral, Cruz subtly marked the news. He posted a picture of a can of Guaraná Antarctica set to the song, “Not Such an Innocent Girl,” which Victoria released in 2001.

While the post held no other context, fans couldn’t help but notice the song choice. Victoria’s “Not Just an Innocent Girl” recently went viral, shooting to the No. 1 spot on the UK and Ireland iTunes chart.

Despite being released 15 years ago, the song seemed to experience a resurgence amid the Beckham family beef. 

Cruz’s song choice seemed to imply that he sided against his brother and supported his mother amid the feud.

In his next post, he shared a picture of a piece of paper with the words, “Loneliest Boy. Verse 1,” per People Magazine. This seems to reference his brother, Brooklyn, who had recently made it clear that he wanted to be on his own and was not interested in reconciling with his family. 

After Victoria’s song shot up the charts, fans saw it as a deserved silver lining amid the messy family fight. One fan called it an “absolutely brilliant resurgence.” 

Another wrote, “We aren’t letting people bully her anymore. She deserves that number 1,” per The Blast.

“Brooklyn is so funny. Lol. So many layers to his silliness. What could have been his end goal? Especially as your wife and your family are not even saints,” one fan wrote.

Another added that he had “accidentally jump-started” his mother’s career by starting the feud. 

Victoria’s 2001 song went viral shortly after Brooklyn launched a social media rant on Instagram, accusing his parents of being the masterminds behind “countless lies.”

“I do not want to reconcile with my family. I'm not being controlled, I'm standing up for myself for the first time in my life. For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family,” he wrote. 

According to The Blast, the 26-year-old alleged that his parents fed the media lies in an attempt to control the narrative about them.

He also claimed that his mother had attempted to sabotage his wedding to Nicola Peltz by opting out of designing her wedding dress at the last minute. 

He further claimed that his wedding was marred by harsh words and fights when his mother called him “evil” over sitting arrangements that didn’t sit well with her. 

Brooklyn alleged that his parents “controlled” him most of his life, and it contributed to the anxiety he suffers from. However, moving forward, he has found “peace and relief” in his new path away from them. 

Although Brooklyn claimed that Victoria intentionally tried to sabotage his wedding by opting out of designing Peltz’s dress, some newly resurfaced information claims otherwise. 

According to The Blast, Peltz did an interview in 2022, where her stylist revealed that she had a “custom Valentino Haute Couture wedding gown” for her big day.

Peltz’s stylist shared that they went back and forth over the sketches and fabric choices, with multiple fittings in the U.S. and in Rome. This seemingly contradicts Cruz’s claims that Victoria was the appointed stylist for the day. 

Despite not being on good terms with his mother, Brooklyn reportedly still holds on to a video that could turn into a PR nightmare for Victoria. 

As reported by The Blast, there exists some exclusive footage from Brooklyn’s wedding, in which Victoria was allegedly dancing “inappropriately” with him. 

“Brooklyn holds all the power when it comes to the video of Victoria dancing ‘inappropriately’ on him at his wedding to Nicola,” a source noted. 

When Brooklyn initially spoke about the dance, he shared that he felt “uncomfortable and humiliated” by his mother’s actions. However, despite retaining ownership of the alleged footage, he is yet to release it to the public.
