Olympic gymnast Nastia Liukin is about to take Tokyo, Japan, by storm and is showing off her patriotic spirit by sharing photos of herself draped in an American flag and sporting daisy dukes!
The five-time gold-medal-winning gymnast took to Instagram sharing a set of mind-blowing photos featuring the retired tumbler decked out in ripped denim shorts, a white top, and a flag slung over her shoulder. Nastia is preparing to exit the U.S. on her way to host part of the Summer Olympics.
In the sexy snaps, Liukin is standing on the beach with a jean jacket that is the good ol' red, white, and blue! She looks amazing...and took the time to talk to fans about making the trip east for the gymnastic competition.
See The Stunning Photos!
"As I get ready to head to Tokyo in just a few days (!!!) it’s hard to contain my excitement. On the heels of a year like no other, these Olympic Games will be one to remember forever," she captioned the stunning shots!
She continued, "My greatest passion has always been gymnastics—and my biggest dream since I was a little girl was to become an Olympic Gold Medalist just like my dad. Hard work, dedication, and lots of support got me there. And now, it is my greatest honor to take that passion, that dream, and my learnings to the LA Athletes’ Commission to make the 2028 Olympic Games legendary!"
Of course, Nastia's fans couldn't let this one go by without telling her how amazing she looks in the photos, with one person writing, "So fabulous! A true legend doing legendary things ❤️." Another added, "You are an amazing inspiration Nastia, thank you for always spreading love and positive vibes!!❤️😊"
Red, White, And Blue!!
As we reported, Liukin celebrated the upcoming games by launching her own limited edition and custom shoes with APL. As for the shoes, she recently opened up in an interview, saying, "Being part of something so much greater than just myself as an individual and being able to come together with my teammates and our entire country, essentially, with that pressure we felt, to carry the weight of the entire nation on our shoulders with so much pride, I can never express that feeling.”
BTW -- This year's U.S. gymnastics team features five of six members who have earned their spot on the Olympic team ever. Only one has been on this stage in the past, which is Simone Biles. The 24-year-old gymnast is a five-time Olympic gold medalist and is a seven-tome United Stares national all-around champion. She's the first American female gymnast to earn a World medal in every event (vault, balance beam, floor exercise, uneven bars, all-around, and team final.)
U.S.A...U.S.A!!
