Bruce Springsteen delivered a fiery message at a surprise New Jersey concert, calling on ICE to "get the f-ck out" of Minneapolis after Renee Good, a mother of three, was fatally shot by a federal officer.
Dedicating his song, "The Promised Land," to her, the famous rocker condemned federal intervention and urged Americans to stand against injustice.
Bruce Springsteen, an outspoken Donald Trump critic, was swiftly met with harsh reactions from fans online over his condemnation of ICE.
Bruce Springsteen Slammed ICE At A Surprise New Jersey Concert

New Jersey rock legend Bruce Springsteen, nicknamed "The Boss," recently called on ICE to "get the f-ck out" of Minneapolis during an unexpected concert appearance.
The 76-year-old singer surprised fans on Saturday night with an extended set at a charity event in Red Bank, New Jersey, benefiting Parkinson's disease research.
During the show, he dedicated his 1978 classic "The Promised Land" to Renee Good, a 37-year-old mother of three who was fatally shot by a federal officer in Minneapolis earlier this month, according to NJ.com.
Springsteen then condemned federal intervention in Minneapolis, calling the current moment "incredibly critical" for the nation.
He urged the audience to speak out against heavily armed masked federal agents operating in the city, comparing their tactics to Gestapo-style repression "against our fellow citizens."
"If you believe you don't deserve to be murdered for exercising your American right to protest, then send a message to this president — ICE should get the f-ck out of Minneapolis," he said, repeating calls made by Mayor Jacob Frey following Good's death.

Following his impassioned speech, some fans and MAGA supporters took to X (formerly Twitter), to slam Springsteen on social media for speaking out against ICE.
"Fellow citizens? That's laughable. The people being arrested in Minneapolis & St. Paul, Minnesota, are not 'fellow citizens,'" one person wrote.
Another said, "Bruce Springsteen is a washed-up clown. No sense of reality."
A third person quipped: "Try getting into a Springsteen show without a ticket and see how accommodating they are of undocumented concert goers."
One individual even claimed they trashed their Springsteen albums, writing, "I erased all my Springsteen MP3's and [threw out] any album or CDs."
Another noted, "I do not personally take guidance from Mr. Springsteen on any matter, but thanks for letting us know."
The Rocker Received Some Support Amid The Backlash

Despite the flood of criticism, Springsteen received support from some fans, with some thanking the rocker for being a "true" hero.
"Thank you, Bruce Springsteen, for using your voice to call out injustice and stand with communities against brutality. The Boss remains a true American hero," one person wrote.
Another commented, "That was a mighty brave and principled stand he took. Bruce Springsteen used that platform to speak a hard truth, defending the rule of law for every single person. I have a deep respect for artists who stand up like that."
A third person stated, "And here comes all the so-called Bruce fans saying 'he should stay out of politics' and 'I'm not listening to him anymore.' Puh-lease. If you ever listened to him, you would know this is very consistent with who he has always been. Thank you, Bruce!"
Bruce Springsteen Calls Donald Trump's Administration 'Incompetent'

Springsteen has a long history of political commentary, frequently speaking out against President Donald Trump.
In May, during concerts in Manchester, England, "the "Dancing in the Dark" rocker called the administration "incompetent and treasonous."
Trump responded to Springsteen's remarks on Truth Social, calling him "highly overrated" and criticizing his politics, music, and talent.
"Never liked him, never liked his music, or his radical left politics—and, importantly, he's not a talented guy. Just a pushy, obnoxious JERK," the president wrote, per the New York Post.
Bruce Springsteen Opens Up About His Past Struggles

Beyond politics, Springsteen recently opened up about his personal struggles with his mental health, reflecting on his first major breakdown in the biopic "Deliver Me from Nowhere."
In a chat with BBC Radio 2 host Scott Mills on October 21, the rock superstar, alongside Jeremy Allen White, who portrays him in the biopic, shared that he initially felt "embarrassed" seeking psychiatric help.
"Mental illness ran through my families. I had aunts, very, very ill. I had cousins who were very ill, and I just got used to it," he said, noting that his loved ones "suffered through it," without ever seeking help from professionals.
Springsteen credited his manager, Jon Landau (played by Jeremy Strong in the biopic), with guiding him to proper support.
He also described the early stages of his treatment as daunting: "I was totally embarrassed. And for years, I would almost disguise myself before going into the psychiatrist's office."
