Rihanna Makes Her Feelings Clear After An Uncomfortable Hotel Exit

Rihanna is no stranger to viral moments, but a brief slip-up outside a New York hotel has put the spotlight back on the singer for reasons she clearly didn’t appreciate. 

While heading out in Manhattan ahead of A$AP Rocky’s big weekend, the global superstar found herself in an awkward situation that quickly spread online. 

Rihanna’s reaction was swift, sarcastic, and unmistakable, sparking a broader conversation among fans about respect, fame, and personal boundaries.

Rihanna was leaving the Four Seasons Hotel in New York over the weekend when the uncomfortable exchange took place. 

The 37-year-old was in Manhattan ahead of her partner, A$AP Rocky, making his “Saturday Night Live” debut. 

Dressed in black pants, an oversized jacket, and sunglasses, Rihanna exited the hotel through a set of double doors as cameras rolled.

In clips shared online, the man walking ahead of her, believed to be her bodyguard, stepped outside first and allowed the door to swing back, striking the singer. 

Rihanna didn’t stay silent. “Such a gentleman you are,” she said sarcastically while pushing her way through the door. 

The moment was brief but immediately caught attention once the video circulated on social media.

The awkward interaction quickly became a talking point online, with many viewers criticizing the bodyguard’s actions. 

Dozens of users took to X, formerly Twitter, to weigh in. “He is not a gentleman,” one person wrote. Another added, “The bodyguard should be ashamed.”

Others expressed frustration from a more personal angle. “I’m not even a superstar and I would have been p**sed. Damn dude,” one viewer commented. 

Another lengthy response argued the issue went beyond opening a door, writing, “It’s the principle as a man you walk out of a door before a woman, a real man's instincts will tell him to hold the door for her.”

That same commenter continued by pointing out the professional responsibility involved, adding, “Plus he probably gets paid pretty damn well to adult sit her and makes sure nothing bad happens to her, including doors closing in her f*cking face.”

Away from the hotel drama, Rihanna recently sent fans into a tailspin after responding to an Instagram post shared by former “Love Island” star Montana Brown. 

As The Blast reported, Brown posted a playful video with the caption, “Deciding to get hot and sexy or get pregnant in 2026.” 

Rihanna jumped into the comment section and wrote, “Wait! So I’m not crazy then? Bet!” 

The response sparked immediate speculation that the “Diamonds” hitmaker may be considering a fourth child. 

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky welcomed their third child, daughter Rocki, on September 13, 2025. They are also parents to two sons, RZA, born in 2022, and Riot, born in 2023.

Fans were quick to redirect the conversation toward music, urging the “Umbrella” crooner, who last released an album in 2016, to return to the studio.

Rihanna has been increasingly open about how motherhood has reshaped her perspective. 

During a recent interview with Extra TV, she gushed over her children, saying, “The babies are amazing. They’re all getting bigger, and I cannot take it. My sons - oh, my God! - their faces are changing. Their necks are getting longer. I love it.”

A$AP Rocky also shared insight into their household, describing their children as “cute as ever” and revealing that RZA and Riot are “getting along” better than expected. 

While he admitted their older sons can get “a little jealous” of their newborn sister, he emphasized that their home remains filled with love.

Rihanna has previously described motherhood as “everything,” while also acknowledging how intense and overwhelming it can be. 

She once called giving birth a “head-f*ck,” explaining she couldn’t believe she entered the hospital pregnant and left with a baby. 

Raising children has also forced her to re-evaluate life, particularly when it comes to raising her sons.

Speaking to Vogue in 2023, she said, “Raising a young Black man is one of the scariest responsibilities in life […] You’re like, ‘What am I leaving my kids to? This is the planet they’re gonna be living on?’”

Despite the challenges, Rihanna insisted motherhood has only strengthened her bond with her man, saying they are “best friends with a baby.” 

She added, “Everything changes when you have a baby, but I wouldn’t say it’s done anything but made us closer.”
