While Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni are gearing up to face off in court, the author of"It Ends With Us" is staying away from the drama to prioritize her health.

Colleen Hoover, who is the author of the book and movie adaptation that started the legal drama, recently clarified the state of her well-being amid growing concerns. She first announced her cancer diagnosis in December 2025.

"It Ends With Us" author initially seemed to be on Blake Lively's side after the latter sued Justin Baldoni for sexual harassment and running a smear campaign against her. She later changed her tune and distanced herself from the ongoing legal war, citing embarrassment.

Hoover addressed the widespread speculations about her health just days after revealing she had been undergoing radiation therapy at Texas Oncology. She explained that her previous social media posts about her treatments had been misunderstood.

"Just clarification because of some misleading clickbait making it sound like I'm on my deathbed or something, but I do not have cancer anymore," Hoover declared in a Facebook post. She noted that she had been diagnosed with cancer sometime in 2025.

Although she did not specify the diagnosis timeline, Hoover stressed that she no longer had cancer thanks to a successful surgery to remove the problem. "Just finished radiation yesterday. I am done and good, and all is well and has been well. My doctors doctored. Hell yeah," she concluded.
