Enrique Iglesias' dad is insisting on his innocence as his sexual assault case gains traction.
Julio Iglesias released a statement in response to the sexual assault claims raised against him, as he hopes his innocence will be proven. This comes after his previous legal battle of a paternity case.
Enrique Iglesias, unlike his father, has been locking hands with the positive side of the media, from news of his thriving music career to updates on his personal family life.
'The Accusations Are Completely False,' Enrique Iglesias Dad InsistsĀ

Enrique's father, Julio Iglesias, has refuted the claims of his two former employees who filed a criminal complaint against him. The singer strongly denies sexually abusing them, calling BS on the allegations.
The artist released his Spanish-written statement on his Instagram account, clapping back at the accusations. He stated that he never abused, disrespected, or coerced any woman.
"These accusations are completely false and cause me great sadness," Julio wrote in his signed statement. His post pulled support from many fans. Musician Rudy Perez wrote a lengthy comment supporting his longtime friend.
He stated how, in the 40 years of their longstanding friendship, Julio always acted as a gentleman, and he never witnessed the singer disrespecting anyone.
Other members of his fanbase wrote how much they support Julio and can not wait to see him proven innocent. Several heart emojis were sent among the 5k+ comments.

According to TMZ, the complaint was filed by the Rights group Women's Link Worldwide on January 5 on behalf of two unidentified women.
They accused the topcharts' Latin artist of sexual and physical assault. The prosecutor's office of Spain's High Court has since confirmed it is looking into the complaint.
The women said in the filings that the alleged assault occurred while they were working at Julio's Caribbean homes in the Dominican Republic and the Bahamas for 10 months back in 2021.
The Grammy winner and his legal team did not previously publicly address these claims. This social media move marks the first step on his end.
Julio Iglesias Previously Lost A Three-Decade Paternity BattleĀ

In 2019, Judge Jose Miguel Bort Ruiz ruled that Julio is the father of Javier Sanchez-Santos, who was 43 years old at the time.
Javier's mother, Maria Edite Santos, fought for years to have her son recognised as the singer's biological child. Initially, a Spanish judge ruled that the singer was indeed Javier's father in 1992, but the ruling was reportedly quashed on appeal in 1994.
During the case, the judge highlighted the striking resemblance between the pair while drawing links to other clues that support the paternity claims.
Julio also refused to submit to the collection of biological evidence, and CNN noted that Maria gave exact data on the property, location, and interior layout of the villa where the singer stayed at the time.
Maria's career as a dancer also supported evidence of contracts and dealings between the artist and herself around the calculated period of Javier's conception.
Enrique Iglesias Recently Welcomed His Fourth Child

Enrique and his wife, Anna Kournikova, received an early Christmas present last year. Their newest family addition arrived on December 17, 2025. They are parents to three older children, a set of twins, Lucy and Nicholas, and a daughter, Mary.
The sweet announcement photo featured the newborn wrapped in a blanket and wearing a hospital beanie snuggled beside a sloth stuffed animal.
PEOPLE shared that the popstar and his beau were excited to become parents again, and being a dad is very important to the "hero" hitmaker. Enrique prioritises his family as he reportedly took time off his tour to spend more time with them.
Creating And Performing Music Keeps Enrique Iglesias Going

The Spanish popstar let fans in on his secret to maintaining his thriving career. He revealed that his love for performing music and creating new hits is his drive to success.
Enrique was set to host a show in Mumbai last October, which he was very excited about. The vibes were a nostalgic showcase, covering both his iconic songs as well as his classic new releases.
As shared by Times Entertainment, the Grammy winner also loves collaborating with other artists from different cultures and genres. This improves the versatility of his music and helps him build a more substantial fanbase.
